Its not about learning.stuff anymore..the next generation need to know how to use the tools...our way is history..its like teaching a miner how to use a pick axe..pointless because the new tools have made it redundant and no.one expects people to pick up a shovel if the big drill fails...just fix the drill...the same with knowledge..soon people will only accept online information...the human mind will be seen as fallible.

wow, don't be such a scrooge, you accepted he was going to have a party, a party usually means like 10 or more people anyway.

Was never about the amount of people, or whatever else parties mean, it's about considering your timetable. But i guess you wouldn't mind your neighbour blasting music at 1am.

Eroooor basic english comprehension levels are low.

I despise tourist attractions because their very existence destroys individuality.
That's why Man reaches out to the stars because everything magical on Earth has been sucked dry and we long for the unknown..seriously my only hope is for a virtual reality that is a world designed by computer using random inputs that noone knows...

@old.Tohtori i would just sneak to the fuse box and pull the fuses. And go to sleep. But I'm 41 and can't be doing with young people any more.

Doesn't f*cking matter. As in he's doing it now and since i'm being polite i'm not going to "ruin" their fun tonight, but tomorrow will be a ripping as should be.

You could also have been 'doing' it now, ripping some finnish ass instead of ripping his ass tomorrow..today. You have yourself to blame. "Look to yourself before looking to others" is a stupid quote, "look inside that ass..", yeah i've got nothing right now..

seriously my only hope is for a virtual reality that is a world designed by computer using random inputs that noone knows...

That is ironic in a sense that I've always thought your posts are random inputs on FH that noone has a clue about. Sort of like Evie.

Well, it's ok, it's all fine. You see, the party went on until 5 am, roomie finally shut things down and went to bed at 5:30 ish.

Living room filled with crap, kitchen every counter filled with half eaten food/cans/you know, party stuff. Cute. The window was open(in finnish weather) and frontdoor barely closed. Ok, not so cute, safety issue. They used my coffee milk and left it on the table..ok, annoyed.

Oh well, we are from FH afterall, let's not get petty.

So i got up at 7:45am today....what?.... and am now listening to some fine american music, such as rebecca black, but i have seemed to have misplaced my headphones. Shame really, wish my volume controls would work too, for some reason it just keeps going louder. Weird. I really wish i didn't have to slam the doors shut due to faulty locking mechanisms. Oh i do hope i don't wake my roomie up, or keep him from sleeping.

Did you ask him if it's OK if you slam doors and generally act like a cunt the morning after he had a party with your blessing?

Yes, when he kept the whole house awake for the whole night.

All these high horsey people commenting yet they'd all be annoyed if it happened to them :p

I ordered a feast from Dominos last night as the wife is away at her mums, planning on eating the pizza tonight. Opened it to grab a cheeky slice before putting it in the fridge and found they sent the wrong one. Phoned them up this morning and they have given me £20 credit. Which was nice.

Quite nice actually, think they only have to bring the right one and you keep the one sent around here.

Quite. Could've done a lot worse tbh.

And disagree all you want, if your neighbour was having a party of 20 until 4-5am you'd be livid you sanctimonious ass :p

The moment you said it's ok for them to have a party (on a Friday night no less, it's not like it was a weeknight) you have no right to be pissy that they had a party.

Yeah i do. I didn't agree to an all nighter. Again, if your neighbour asked you if he could have a party, would you assume that it's ok to continue it until morning and keep you up in the process?

If so, fine, otherwise shut up.

Oh and the whole "weekend is free game" is bull.

Yes.

An all nighter, come on... is It safe to assume your roommate isn't in the fifth grade? Otherwise I'd say that the all night part was implied.

Tbh that's your problem not theirs. You were invited after all.

No it's not. People who have "normal" jobs (9-5 in an office or whatever) and lead "normal" lifestyles relax and unwind at the weekend.

Chandler Bing - What are you, twelve? :D

It wasn't. A get-together was implied.

Tbh that's your problem not theirs. You were invited after all.

Actually wasn't, it's only implied since i live under the same roof that i would be around if i wanted to. Yes it was my problem, but they caused it.

No it's not. People who have "normal" jobs (9-5 in an office or whatever) and lead "normal" lifestyles relax and unwind at the weekend.

Unwid all you want not at others expense.

And doesn't matter what was implied and not and how the f*ck you want to twist it, bottom line; zero consideration towards other people living in the house.

Should check up how many of you righteous asses complain about diwali, or neighbours lawn, or any other thing, Hypocrites as per usual :p

Yep - you're showing zero consideration to the fact that humans like to have parties now and again - and that they tend to be loud and long.

If they were doing it every weekend without notice then I'd be on your side. But you had notice, and it's not often - so you're utterly in the wrong and being totally selfish.

Consideration goes both ways.

Once again Scouse knows f*ck all what he's talking about. Yei!

FUnnily enough all of you steer clear of the question; would you be annoyed at your neighbour keeping you up until 5-6 am?

Know why? Because you wouldn't be fine with it.

Happens occasionally. They come round, tell me they're having a party, I say "OK".

Works the other way too. We get on OK. It's gonna happen to them this New Year - I get a barrel of beer from the local brewery, cram my house until it's bursting and we stay up till the sun rises.

They happen to do it a few times a year, especially in the summer.

A few, maybe 5 or 10, sleepless nights out of 365 days of the year? ~1-2% of the available sleeping nights? Big deal. That's a tiny price to pay for having a nice life. Anyone who complains about that is a bit of a whiny cunt IMO...

Also, @CorNokZ, I saw this and thought of you (a reference to an old Post Office commercial that you probably won't understand :( ).

Mmmm this pleases me immensely. The pine trees are a work of art. Getting moss to grow like that and pruning it in such a way, takes years of practise. Also probably the best path aquascape I've see.

And I just put the hobby aside after we moved and now I get the urges again :(
