So the new GoPro 4 is out there. I'm a little disappointed to see the same specs regarding simultaneous video and photos tbh. The 3+ Black could do 1080p25/30 and a 12MP photo every 5 seconds and the 4 has the same limits. Seeing as they've double the framerates of video from 1080p up (4k30, 2.7k50, 1080p120) it's disappointing that we can't do 2.7k video with simultaneous photos (it's pretty much the best mode for drone use).

At least it seems to work ok with the gimbal (even though it's slightly heavier than the 3+).
