Time to go shopping, considering the following;

Scotch.
Fallout 3 game of the year edition(add-ons really, hell, extra copy never hurt anyone).
Foodseses.
Maybe more scotch.

I've always said that about eating cold curry take-away left-overs for breakfast the following morning, but everyone says "Curry for breakfast? Feck that". :D

Plan went kind of right.

Scotch.
Food(cheddar fish thingies and msh, some such)
Drinks.
Marshmallows.
Yoghurt(layered as per usual).
Cheese and meat.
A sale of "3 for 2" which i used to buy two add-on packs (missing zeta, aliens have no business in fallout anyway) and a bonus of bioshock(which i now can get along with). All for 20 euro, which was nice because instead of buying a game of the year edition, i got add-ons, bioshock and a bottle of scotch :p

Don't knock it until you've tried it!

Try a hamburger buns with maple syrup and cheese in the middle :D

About cold takeout in the morning, when i got a hangover i usually just need a gallon of my homemixed wakeup soda mix stuff and cheese...with meat.

Also it's for afterparty drinking(party of me and random female x) and i'll be damned if any skirtwearing todgergroper touches the quality stuff :D

I really should try a curry sometime, no idea what it is, possibly to do with curry(spice) and chicken? :p

Curry spice is a pretty generic thing, a curry as we know it in the U.K. will actually have a blend of different herbs and spices such as turmeric, coriander seed, tamarind, mace, cumin, pepper, allspice, saffron, mustard seed and fennel seed plus loads of others. You can create a large variety of different dishes using any combination of those, for that reason curries taste different everywhere you go. A chicken tikka in Manchester can taste quite a bit different than a chiken tikka in Birmingham just because the chef uses a different blend of spices.

Personally that is why I never get bored of curries, you can always find something new if you are adventurous.

Ah thanks, that sounds a bit overspiced, but i guess it's kind of the point and it all works(proven by popularity :p).

Also would explain the hangover need, spices do work wonders.

The brilliance of a curry is they range from sweet all the way to burning hot, you can get some amazing flavour combinations from that many spices. A superb curry might use only 4 spices and taste better than something that uses 8 spices, it is all about how the chef balances them against the other ingrediants.

Curry is finally starting to take off in the United States, once people try a good curry they realise what all the fuss is about. It tastes completely different than our western food but in a good way, the textures, flavours and variety of Indian food can really be amazing if cooked by a good chef.

On the otherhand, going to a shite restaurant may put you off them for life if you've never had one before. Try to find a really good restaurant when bursting your curry cherry. If you have any Indian or Pakistani friends who are cooks, get them to teach you how to make curry & mix the spices. Home made grub means you'll know exactly what goes into it & you can make it as mild or hot as you like. Plus the house will have the most amazing aroma of spices.

If you find yourself in London & fancy a curry, I know some really great places to go

Will be sooner then later, friend moving to the UK means i'll be popping over there next year and probably more often too. Get a bit of perspective on your culture, drinking etc and i'll be sure to get one of these curries.

As well as an irn bru, fish&chips, a suitcase filled with jelly babies and perhaps even that weird parmo thing :p

(Ofcourse i know Irn bru isn't exactly english, but bet one can find it ;))

Can buy Irn Bru everywhere. Parmo is much harder, mostly north east of England.

Toto, PM me when you have dates. Might meet up with you or worst ways send you to a proper curry restaurant & recommend you some bars with seriously fit women. And Yes, the good news is that practically every single convenience store & certainly all supermarkets will sell Jelly Babies. 2 suitcases imo

Choccie covered jelly abbies? Sounds like herecy and delicious in same sentence. It's herelicious!

On a sidenote;

Noticed there was a sale game in the store, Jewel Quest.

Nothing there right?

The sale sticker was placed in the top right corner, where by some form of irony, it covered the "el" :p
