Ronnie is a better natural talent I think, just the way he flies around the table. He went out of the arena after frame 13 and came back and thought "right fuck this, I'm going to make something happen" and he knocked in 102 (I think) and then almost got another century. He's just mesmerising when he's on his game.

Steve Davis, with only the white and the black on the table, managing to use a pocket to make a snooker. I can't find that either, I think it might've been in the '85 final against Dennis Taylor.

He had a really really bad childhood, I can't remember the ins and outs, but he's relatively local to me, and I was speaking to someone who knew him personally.

Also, does no-one find Snooker interesting, because I'd imagine you'd get 'into it' in a grotty pub somewhere playing with your mates, then when you play professionally it's like the 'poshest' thing
