Daily Mirror has had Clarkson in its cross-hairs for years because he's a long-time Murdoch writer. That's what kicked off the whole Piers Morgan feud. But it could be bad for Clarkson; the Mirror were also the ones who got Andy Gray and Richard Keyes booted out for stuff they did off-camera. The only thing that helps Clarkson is that technically he's not a BBC employee, and he owns Top Gear, so if the BBC wanted to get rid, they'd lose the whole show.

For me Subway is "emergency abroad" food. When you're in a foreign country and you're tired and you really cba to sit down in a restaurant and negotiate a menu in a foreign language, you go to Subway or MaccyD. Its the only time I ever eat either.

My secret shame. I do actually love going into funky cafes rather than chains (I'm sat in one right now), but sometimes you just go "ah fuck it". When I was in south america I didn't see an American fast food chain for about three months and then we arrived in Lima and the hostel was right across the road from a BK and a MaccyD and I just gorged myself on junk burgers.
