Actually, when I was playing Stone Sentinel at the Midgard DF entrance last night in the Vale of Mularn(just after 00H00), a little dwarf wanted to go inside. But I would let him. Because I wanted a shrubbery.

He said he was in search of the holy grail, but I said: "None shall pass!", follow by numerous Ni!'s.

When trying to cross PK bridge earlier, one of the guardsmen stopped me and asked....

What was my name
What was my quest
&
What was my favourite colour

Being the nobel knight I am, his questions possed no bounds.

Now that 1.49 has introduced proper flying mobs, expect to see the most feared monster of them all, the swallow. European Swallows will con red to a lvl 50, and African Swallows will con purple.
Their prefered method of attack is, of course, to fly over the party and drop coconuts on them. :)

Only problem is They run out of Coconuts too quickly so have to resort to natural means of offense/defense ehem. Can be rather disgusting

Just be thankful ostriches haven't figured out how to fly again...

NEWSFLASH!!!
A flock of ostriches is migrating north and will be passing over Johannesburg at approximately 15H00. Make sure to wear protective gear around this time. Please stay tuned for further updates.

They eat stones to help with digestion...

Reading Macbeth in english (again... also it is in the original form/language naturally) and after we finish studying and reading it we will watch the Holy Grail to lighten up the atmosphere, not like I haven't seen it though. Very... very funny movie.

Yes, like Albatros, and swallows, and humming birds. Nothing like a good rock to aid the digestion...

What crap is that? Most birds...pfffft. I'd rather say a FEW birds. The Aussie version of the ostrich, and hmm...can't really think of many others...since they all need to FLY.

Actually...mind naming a few birds that eat stones? And I'm not talking about grains of sand here...we're taking good one pound coin size stones.

My God.... And they say that if a bird leaves some shit ontop of your car it means money are coming your way..... Im just trying to imagine the marks of 5 coinsized rocks on my little chevrolet caprice 5.7 . Kill em Kill em all, otherwise not a single car is safe.

To answer myself (yes, got a bit bored)

Loons, swans, herons, pigeons, etc. All need some form of grit to help digestion. However, the REAL stones are eaten by ostriches. ;)

the ability to fly has nothing to do with being a bird...

if you want to discuss the size of the stone, it has to be compared to the bird. my Love Bird (a small form of parrot) eating 10-15 grains of sand, might have a little trouble navigating all that well.

But yes. Parrots and love birds dont eat CHUNKS of ROCK :p
(they are known, however, to fly off with a troll infant, which, well, is roughly the same)
