For the curious people out there who wonder which template I will run on my theurgist. Its similar to my enchanter template. Stajjijjon Enchanter Template

Its purely put together for playing with a full group with atleast 2 casters in it. Its not meant for tower humping or zerg fighting in that case I use my solo template with better resists. This is not for ppl who are new to casters, if you position yourself wrong with this template in a fight or go to fight zergs in it, you can just say bye bye. Its purely put out to fight other fullgroups and their setups in a certain way, thus the choice of certain lower resists. Feel free to ask why.

Im pretty sure many will ask, WTH only +5 to specline... YES it does improve your damage, but before you say this, go ingame and test it and see how much it is. There has been a general view of this in our community that is missleading. Only ones that really benifit from having +11 skills are self debuff nukers, (See Enchanters,Cabalists and Runemaster).

cant wait till thanes are fotm :p

edit: using zo and AT i spose that it is actually about the best you will be able to do and still get high power pool, so i give you some credit for that.

pretty nice template, just a big shame about the hits =)


but suppose ull be able to keep up dmg with all that pp =P


tbh theurg shouldnt be in dmg range, so shouldnt need hits...well melee dmg atleast. 2000range pets iirc? so yer ;X

2200 range with 10% and then another 100 if cloudsong is up so longggggg range

172 hit and 72 con is -36 hits compared to 200 hits and 75 con. fyi

Difference between 25% pp and 45% is big imo. I like the extra potential power. dont have to be so carefull with spells etc ;]

It's a nice template and i like that ring of dances, love templates with uncommon items in it :). Btw i'm using cyclone on my template aswell and it fix really well.

surely after being such a fan of the extra 2% range from ml10 legs in chanters temp, surely would want in theurg temp where it would actually make a significant difference, and also ur wanting loads of power pool but not using EP which gives 60% from use.

BoZ, RoD and +AF a must for your template btw? Just wondering if i can be arsed to see if can improve it and where you got some leeway to work with.. may not bother but just incase, really like my template atm so it just if i bored :p

imo pending on what spec u gonna be..If ice, get spell duration into that.. i have been using ice pets a lot! and with 26% duration in temp, they stick quite a lot. Also aoe root with high dur, is nice. But nice temp, a lot like mine, cept durability > pp in mine. Resists can FOAD since yeah, u been in max range most of the time if u play your char right, which as your opponent i know u do.

Basically.. welcome to the world of fotm. Shame u rolled same class as me so we cant play same team :D

It has to low utility and with atlest 3 casters in group you have. 3 x 25%, 60% staff charge, mcl1, mordoms mind, power pot.

Good enough to not settle with EP. And a forth item timer is not good at all. when you already have 3 power timers + BoZ.

I want atleat 40 AF in my templates, and BoZ for fumble/miss debuff.

right about most things, althou I dont pet asmuch as you I belive. I would deffo go for higher duration if I was bigger part of the interrupting.

Will always run with a heretic (hi vf) along with either 2nd sorc or 2nd banelord. Basicly I will only pet if they cant do the job. If pets are needed I pet. Else I assist caba for spirit debuffs.

Pets dont work with powerpool the same as spec nukes hence they have a % value of your pp and not a fixed value.

tested AF with bainshee bolt no dmg diff at all, dout it any diff from other bolts. Bolt dmg and melle dmg both worked out using AF, so dnt c why + AF from items will effect one but not the other, dno if you have tested it and got diff results but dnt c reason for the 40AF from items. EP can be fitted in has higher utility than stuff like RoD, cnt rmb of hand round 40-50util?

Well I only tested AF getting bolted by a firewizard and getting hit sitting down with no ABS shield, by 1h battler. I found the meele difference beeing worth it. About the bolts its verry noticable, going from 24% heat with 0 AF to 0% heat and 47 AF, I actully got hit for significantly less.

About the EP not beeing in template, I dont see any use of sacrificing AF and disbalancing the template for a charge I can totaly skip out on.

And even Mordoms comes out to use verry seldom due to the high pp. The 2% extra range from pants no longer stack and I was able to balance and config the template better to my liking by not having them in.

aha never new they longer stack, can forget bout tryin 2 squeeze them in, and aye they suck putting into temps.
think ill have to agree to disagree about EP, as tests for me show AF dnt effect dmg urs do, mby bainshee bolt calculated diff to all others dnt c why but...
i agree if +AF does effect then EP is not worth it however if it dosent EP is worth it imo as you dnt loose out on anything important fitting it in (if AF dosent effect) but gain the EP /use
btw guessin the sitting down with no ABS sheild to test for so he hit for caped dmg and could c if AF effectin it? might try it if so

Nice except for the energy resist, used to be ignorable but not these days imo. Yes the reasoning that if you're well positioned you won't take damage works to an extent, but I don't think that should be used as an excuse in general - everybody takes damage at some time and everybody dies midfight on occasion, unless they're staying back so far that they can't push up when needed and get their tanks killed. But if you're prepared to run with 0 energy then very nice temp.

Pets work off your base powerpool not your total powerpool, so they have a fixed value based off your level and maybe the amount of int you put in at character creation I believe.
