Just come home from the Vet Centre, after some evil little bastard shot my Cat Twice, once in the Stomach, and one bullet hit the Spine.

It was a pityful site when i found her, she was crying, at first i thought it was run over, i checked its Spine, Legs etc for any Fractures, all seemed OK, i seen a bit of blood on its Stomach, but didnt take notice of that at that time.

Anyway, each time we moved it, it let out a big cry, so i did think its Spine was damaged.

Put the cat into a box, and drove round for about 15mins tryin to find the damn Vet Centre.

Took it inside the Vets, a Vet picked it up, the Cat let out a Cry, and he noticed that her back legs where not moving, just her Upper Body.

I then noticed that the Blood Spot on her Stomach, had a little Bullet hole, anyway, the Vet checked down her back, and noticed a small hole in her back. This explained that she has been crippled from waist down.

He give a diagram of the Bone Structure of the Spine, i understood that i suppose.

He did one final Test before telling us, and that was to stick a Needle/Pin in her Foot, she did not respond.

Me and Mum finally agreed that she should be put down, because it would take a long time for her to Die Naturally, meaning more Pain and Suffering to her.

I left the room at this point, i didnt want to see her Die.

Ive just brought her home, she looks Peaceful.

Ive had her for around 10 years, and she will be sorely missed by me, since ive had her since i was a little kid.

If i ever find the fucker that done this, i swear to god he will pay, she was a beautiful Cat, and so loveable and cuddly.

Whilst I do have issues with cats, I sympathise with you Super. Thats no way to go.:(

If you find out who did it, I will help you string em up. Similar thing happened to one of my cats a few years ago, we think some kids beat him up, couldn't walk etc. Had to have him put down.

People like that should be taken out and stoned.

Mums callin Police now... dunno if they're gonna do anything, Vet said they would..

My other Cat knows somethings wrong, he was staring at her for ages, usually when they where alive they where always playfighting.

Oh my god matey, I feel for ya I really do, like saw said if you need any help let me know, you only live 40 minutes away from me. The police won't do a thing, don't waste your time it will only wind you up more. Theres some fucking scum in this country, they probably got sick of shooting birds WANKERS.

That is awful m8, my mum lost a beloved cat exactly the same way, but fortunately he died qucikly (we think).

My mum wanted it to Die naturally, but me and the vet said it could take hours/days meaning it will suffer badly, so finally she agreed that it must be put down.

For the next week or so, ask everyone you see in your street/area, if they know anything about it, or if they know anyone who has a BB gun type thing.

I doubt the police will do much...RSPCA might be able to help.

Think thats sick, check this out.

I was walking round the back of our house and noticed a object on a grass area used by the residents and decided to take a look. Upon getting closer I realised it was a cat....it had been shaved/skinned from behind its head up to its tail, made worse by the rain. I helped my dad put it in a plastic bag and then created some posters asking about a lost cat and provided a brief description.

Later that day a lady from 7/8 doors away called saying they had been looking after a cat for a friend from accross the road and they hadn't seen it for a little while. Well it was kind of hard to show them this cat, as you could imagine. They confirmed it was the cat and took it to the vet to find out what had happened, the vet said it had a deep stab mark and then been shaved/skinned. He called the RSPCA who had said this wasn't the first which then caused us not to allow our cat out at night, ever.

The really sad thing is, as Tremor said, the police are not really able to do anything, proving that someone shot the cat is not worth their time and trouble. If they ignore car thieves and dopeheads, then a cat is not going to impress them.

You should find out who did this and, rather than confront them, bide your time, sick evil people who do this sort of thing make mistakes, be ready to capitalise on it. If you respond now, driven by anger, you may well blow any chance to get some sort of revenge.

we have told a neighbour across the road about what happened, but only coz she was coming past walking, i dont feel up to telling people as of yet myself, coz i feel Sick.

We have had trouble with Kids before, ya know, "Knock and Run" and chuckin bricks at the Window (Luckily non where Broken).

There was no need to take it this far though, maybe they just shot it, just to hurt it, not to actually know it would die thru injuries.

I think i have some sort of picture what happened:

My Cat was in the Front Driveway, lying down basking in the Sun, my Mum seen it before she took Cousin Home, next she come home, the cat was not there, instead it was in the back while she was taking the clothes out to dry, it was there on the floor crying..
so inbetween that time (ABout an hour?) the cat was there, first shot in the Stomach, then while it run off, they shot it again, but it hit her Spine, thus crippling her, so, she dragged herself under the Gate, into the back yard. Where she found her.

Well, while these kids are laughin there arses off, and us phoning the Police, who arent interested, the only time they will be interested, is when one of these guys shoot a kid, coz thats whats gonna happen

Gonna be hard probably, coz im in the middle of two fields, and on each side of the fields, is big estates where druggies and Gangs hang out. Which is why i dont go out often, because i just dont trust where i live, i have a feeling i know who they are, they use to buy stuff off me all the time, but i stpoped doin that, then i notice bricks etc comin thru.

If i ever see em again, i'll ask, and they might be able to lead me to whoever did it.

Why is everyone assuming its kids? Adults can be cunts too. Discharging a firearm in a public place is a serious offence, regardless of the target, call the police. If the cops start knocking on doors someone will say something.

Judging by the way cats act round here, I'm guessing the cat only got what it deserved. Selfish thoughtless cunts of animals that they are (this tends to go for the owners aswell).

Cats can be cunts, but i fail to see how that justifies killing them, let alone leaving them half dead :(

When we used to have cat problems, the watergun solved them. The cats picked up on it though, and they'd run the moment they saw you, 'cus they knew you were going to soak them :/

Although if we use Bodhi logic, owners are cunts, then we should of killed Bods a long time a go ;)
