England were fucking terrible. Wasn't up in time for the Wales game but i hear they were great. Should be a close semi, but neither of the sides involved will beat any of the southern hemisphere sides.

A game of almost nearly for the Welsh.

Halfpenny's kick was bloody inches under that bar. Hook's slip and miss were crucial. Jone's conversion would have seen the French have to attack which would have stretched their lines because they'd brought their bigger slower boys on to hold defence.

Why in the Love of Christ Jones ran at the French and conceded the ball in the 72nd minute I'll never know. At the 22 he should have been in the pocket looking for the drop goal.

Taking nothing away from the French, but if they get the All Blacks in the final and they're back to the form they showed in pool (sans Dan Carter ofc which makes it hard work) they the French should get soundly beaten.

Fundamentals were poor from Wales today, and whilst the french were unspectacular, they just did enough and probably deserved the win. I do feel though that if we'd had 15 on the field for the entire game we'd have won.
