how do you say in english when you are with 3 people who each sing the same song. The first one starts, then after 3 seconds the other one starts with the beginning of the song and then 3 seconds later the last one starts singing.. I can't find it in my dictionary.

dredged it up from some distant memory when I was in a school production of West Side Story. The big end of the first half number has people singing the same things but offset and the director went on about getting the canon right or summin!

Yeah thats a great piece! I love most of the soundtrack to American Beauty, really does suit the entire tone of the film! It's also the same guy who did the soundtrack to road to perdition!
