    Of all the trilogy films released, which is the best?

    1) Lord of the Rings
    2) Star Wars
    3) Indiana Jones
    4) Godfather
    5) Neverending Story (if anyone chooses this I will destroy them! :p)
    6) The Matrix
    7) Hannibal Lecter Trilogy
    8) Fistfull of Dollars
    9) Back to the Future
    10) El Mariachi/Desperado
    11) Terminator
    12) Back to the Future
    13) Evil Dead
    14) American Pie

    ...umm, can't think of anymore off the top of my head.

    I guess Lord of the Rings would be my number one choice but Indiana Jones is pretty uber as well. :/

    Star wars is technically not a trilogy anymore :)

    I'd say LotR because I just loved the books and the movies.

    the new star wars films are so crap, they shouldnt be classed as star wars films, they spoiled the trilogy.
    lotr is just so uber, rotk is like omg ;/ cant wait for the extended dvd

    Lord of the Rings...although I enjoyed Star Wars. :)

    And you forgot the Evil Dead trilogy!! That was friggin' awesome shit!! :D

    Star Wars is still number one for me...they messed up too much in the LotR trilogy (sadly) it's a strong second tho :)
    what you forgot to mention (but isn't really a trilogy anymore either) is th Aliens trilogy. Terminator and Highlander (technically also not a trilogy anymore) deserve mention too, just because the first ones are so incredibly good...

    2 Indiana Jones (although no longer a trilogy as they are filming #4)
    3 Back to the Future

    Star Wars would be up there if Jedi didn't blow...
    All those people complaining about Episode 1 and 2 should remember Jedi was a steaming pile of rancid shite too

    Highlander doesn't really deserve a mention because only ONE of the movies was any good (and it isn't strictly a trilogy... ;) ). Highlander 2 was the greatest mistake in the history of mankind and the other two were mediocre.

    (I like the series though. :) )

    Indiana Jones first definatly, greatest trilogy of all times.

    LoTR in close second, but only because i didn't like the way they'd removed some of the best bits of the books from the films - Also Sam&Frodo... i will say no more on that... Oh also when watching them in the cinema's i'd have a fuckin migrain for the rest of the night.


    Special mention for Back to the future III, I and II were... well shite, but III was good. I was even partially moved by the final scene (and lets be honest, the train is still cool :D)
