I guess Lord of the Rings would be my number one choice but Indiana Jones is pretty uber as well. :/

what you forgot to mention (but isn't really a trilogy anymore either) is th Aliens trilogy. Terminator and Highlander (technically also not a trilogy anymore) deserve mention too, just because the first ones are so incredibly good...

Highlander doesn't really deserve a mention because only ONE of the movies was any good (and it isn't strictly a trilogy... ). Highlander 2 was the greatest mistake in the history of mankind and the other two were mediocre.

Indiana Jones first definatly, greatest trilogy of all times.

LoTR in close second, but only because i didn't like the way they'd removed some of the best bits of the books from the films - Also Sam&Frodo... i will say no more on that... Oh also when watching them in the cinema's i'd have a fuckin migrain for the rest of the night.


Special mention for Back to the future III, I and II were... well shite, but III was good. I was even partially moved by the final scene (and lets be honest, the train is still cool )
