State why today is a good day for you or the world in general.

If you're one of those fail-type guys, make a "today is a bad day"-thread please xD.

Sort of a 'nothing' day today, but I got an e-mail from a friend that could be quite promising for the future of my illustration career :)

I found out Maths at Standard level isn't required for my Uni courses so I'm dropping it and taking up Maths Studies!

Yesterday was one of the best days I can remember

It all started with a free new stove, delivered and installed scot free,
then later I resived a £3200 bonus (roughly)
and In the afternoon My GF told me that I'm going to be a Father come April!

today I got to taste the new Ardbeg Blasda and a Glenmorangie Astar and the Glenmorangie Signet

Got a decent bonus today and got more stuff to do at work. Pretty good day :)

[Football] I heard today that if Northampton had held out for 4 more minutes at Sunderland the other week we could be playing UTD in the next round :/ would have enjoyed that, win or lose. So that put a dampener on things.

Gratz Olg!

And I'm alive and not feeling ill. As is my wife and child. That's good enough for me. I believe in the phrase "If you're happy and you know it you're unusual" - I find at least with myself I only lament my position when I'm ill or something has gone wrong in life, such as an ill or deceased family member etc.

So I'm thankful for everything being fine, and many others should imo. Live life and feel positive. And drink some. :drink:

yeah grats, how was the ardbeg?! (hæhæh)

well,
In modest honesty, I suspect it it'll be one of the quickly forgotten Ardbegs,
It's not that theres anything wrong with it at all, it's smooth it's citrusy, and you left with no dout as to it's origin.....but, well.......just.....",

and I do suspect it'll sit odd with the loyal core ardbeg fans. And to me it seemsto try and get a foot in on an area that is already overcrowded, and
I dout a 40% chillfiltered is the right answer...

But it's an ardberg and it's a new release, so you can be sure it'll sell. and find it's fans

For me the Astar was the possitive suprise of the day. I usually find glenmorangie boring at best, but this 100 proof "57.1% cask strenght" matured in tennasey whisky barrels, "so not bourbon as usual" (american oak) wich they infact handpicked them selvs, out in the forrests of the Ozarks mountians in Missouri. Easilly by far the best morangie I've tasted.
