"The time has cometo Mobilize Ironforge, we can no longer stand by and let the Elves dictate our order of the day for too long our mines and expansion expedtions have been halted by Elven politics, saying we may not use our trees in our mines or use them for warengines and this must end therefore we need to Mobilize our forces and make the long march to Darnassus and announce that we end this most unholy alliance with these Elves...

I have personally lead an expedition to the secret elf village og Moonglade and what my expedtion saw there shocked the whole community Elves living together with the Hordes most deadly race the Taur and this means the Elves are playing both sides and using us a puppets in their own little theater, so all preach the word we must end this alliance before our lack of industry means we are not able to stop the Horde from taking over alliance lands.

So preach the word and once again can we open new mines and create deadly engines of war, and once the alliance is broken finally we are rid of the smell of bark in Ironforge once the treehuggers have gone home to their little valley"

<remember this is just roleplaying>

moonglade is a 'secret' druid haven, not an elf village. all druids are welcome there.

Shame, roleplayers usually have fairly good grammar and spelling. Oh well, maybe next time

If we mobilize ironforge, will we be getting hands-free equipment from instances and do we all join the same service provider, like AOL(all orc lines) or Zerg Base?

Also will the shaman community be putting up the needed totems for good coverage over the world?

It's not THAT unfunny :(

I liked it.

As for the original post, with all the ranting about Industry, you could easily change a few names and you'd have a Bush vs The Kyoto treaty story.

Heh, yeah good point.

The post did make me think though. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a switch in the composition of the Alliance and Horde races, due to differing interests. Arguably the Night Elves have more in common with the Taurean (both being creatures of nature) than they do with the dwarves.

I can't think though, of the other alliance and horde races switching sides. Orcs and Dwarves have such an established enimity in terms of the genre, that those two allying themselves just doesn't work. Same for Humans and Orcs. Everyone hates the Trolls (apparently) so that just leaves the Undead.

The Forsaken are, technically, rather more misunderstood than just outright evil and an alliance between them and the Humans might not be impossible if the Burning Legion or Scourge were to return in full force. Though the alliance seem generally outraged at the undead, so its unlikely.

That'd be an interesting dynamic, having an entire race switch factions as a result of some huge "world event."
