I dont understand why everyone is allways starts to talk about antisemitis when somebody flashes a swastikia around, sure Hitler didnt like jews, fine but he also didnt like russians. He thought of them as dino-human, a race which should server the arians etc. And captured russians where gassed by the millions, nobody mentions them, kinda unfair isnt it? And the sad part is that those russians who did survive/escape holocaust got shot for treason when they got home by Stalin, now thats a cold hearted bastard. The concentration camps captured by sovjet where also reused on politicaly difficult prisoners, pepol that needed to disappear. I sympatise with those.

And why should iseralits get sympati for holocoast anyway, when they pretty much do the same things hitler did? creating ghettos for the palestines with there walls, stripping them of the natrual resorces, bombing and murdering endless numbers of innocent pepol. Crocodiel tears I say.

Forcing the owner to change its name is kinda overreacting, they could allways just build a wall around it, and hope the problem goes away.

Just my 10 cents.

Your point is very unclear (to me at least). Could you perhaps structure it a bit different? Right now it seems like a lot of random thoughts thrown together, with no real line or argumentation in it.

MAybe some people remember hitler as something else as well.

It's not like it was ALL about killing jews and having parties.

But, that's ofcourse wrong thinking 'cause Hitler was such a bad bad man.

Well then show me the good things he's done and you will find that there's not much. You could say that he brought discipline, but that's not 100% right aswell, Germany after the first world war was still highly influenced by Prussian traditions, so it wasn't really something new, Germany was - at that time - a highly disciplined country.

You could say he gave work to people, yer he sure did, by expending more money than the state ever had and by kicking out jews/strangers from their jobs.

Some people argument that he built the well known German highways, which again was just to be faster in war and not to please common people after all. Also it costed the state tons of money which wasn't even there.

He wasn't even a smart man, not at all, he just got a little charisma and told people what they wanted to hear at the right time.

----------

Then again I highly doubt it would've been suicide bombered. Saying that means you don't really know much about the situation =) The suicide bombers which we talk about all the time at the moment are muslims and "they" are anti-semites aswell. Let me tell you the following story. My old German teacher once went to Iran for holidays and while he was in a café the owner found out that he was German, so he came over and told him smth along the lines of: "Ah you're German, I like Germans. Hitler was a good man, killed many jews." Guess he was pretty much like wtf?

----------

Yer well maybe naming the restaurant like this wasn't intended in a malicious way, but it's still not really a nice thing to do towards another group of people. I hate the debate myself, but c'mon, that's like opening a Pinochet-burger restaurant in Chile, it's simply not sensible.

Ghetto = a section of a city, esp. a thickly populated slum area, inhabited predominantly by members of an ethnic or other minority group, often as a result of social or economic restrictions, pressures, or hardships. (from dictionary.com)

You can't make ghettos by making a wall around your country.

Bombing and murdering endless innocent people?
They are in a war against a terrorist organisation, when the terrorists work from inside civilian villages it is hard not to hit innocent people in the progress, not saying it's okay, but it's not like they murder innocent people on purpose or try to bomb innocent people on purpose.
Hitler did this.

But we have discussed these things over and over again, guess it'll keep on popping up :)

Here's how I understood it:
1. Hitler wasn't only anti-semitist, he gassed other people too.
2. Stalin was a bastard as well.
3. Israel is doing something holocaust'esque, thus they shouldn't complain about the holocaust.
4. Forcing the owner to change the name was over the top. (I don't get the remark about the wall).
Now, assuming this is correct, here are (some of) my remarks.

1. Yes, but he's a symbol for anti-semitism (and thus, by extension, racism). Practically everybody knows this as well, which is why you won't find anyone waving around a swastika banner because he wants a full-employment economy. Now, you seem to argue that this isn't fair. Maybe, but symbols never are. The French Revolution wasn't all that great at the time, but now it's a symbol for Freedom, Egality and Brotherhood. Symbols don't know nuances, which is why they're so strong.

2. Yes, but how is this relevant?

3. I disagree, the holocaust was unique in it's kind. Now, Israel most certainly doesn't fight a clean war and Amnesty probably isn't all wrong when they claim Israel has comitted war crimes. This doesn't make it a holocaust though. I also fail to see how this point is relevant to the rest.

4. As far as I can see this has nothing to do with your previous points.

Gees...thought we went over this allready.

I'm not too keen on answering arguments posted a whole heck of later then i posted, not to mention when people choose an argument that fits them.

If you want to discuss the good points of hitler, or there lack of, make another thread about it.
