No, you wont. Not in my neck of the woods anyway. Townies are no different to anyone else, bored kids, society gives them nothing to do, whats left but to piss people off? They'll grow out of it one day when they can start getting in to pubs and the like.

Maybe you live in West London or something but around here, and pretty much everywhere in this country, they are a plague to the civilized. They cause trouble for the hell of it - they're aggressive, ignorant (and proud in their ignorance) crude and often criminals. In later life they usually end up in prison or in an even more decrepid council house than the one they were born in, where they spawn more of their kind. Their music generally reflects their way of life - being ruled by the Id (the I WANT NOW part of your mind) a townie dislikes reflection on matters which do not involve sex, violence or drugs - and therefore their music largely deals with only these subjects.

On the contrary. They are still aggressive on their own, that's when most muggings take place. Yes I generalize - if you prefer, I can say - 95% of townies are scum, which is probably more accurate, and, say, 70% are criminals - but it's easier just to say they're all scum wouldn't you agree? And show me a townie who lives in a mansion... other than criminals and those celebrities who somehow got lucky. It is a social disease caused by council estates, and thus you will find townies mostly in council estates. Blame the government if you want - it's a stupid setup, and just another fault of western society, but whoever is to blame, chavs, townies, neds, whatever you call them... they're destroying our country.

I agree with you, I am one of the people who wear black but not to be recognized [I'm just in plain black, no major logos, no white make up etc.] Honestly, it is all most probably for show. The Only time I wear hoodies with band logos/trench-coats is when it's raining >.<. But, I have to agree with you. Most do it for show. [At one point I did, then I realised 'what the hell I was doing' and stopped. I'd rather be myself than comform to a group - wether it being townies/goths/grungers - and be myself \o/

Uhmm... Not every 'metaller' wears chain on their trousers but some do, it's odd... Metal is fun though. A few of my friends wear 'chains' but they usually have keys attached to the end of them. =) So, it's okay.

Now, onto 'The Streets' I admit, it is just talking which is... Mehhy. But it is a change from everything else I've heard recently. Just more simple/comical.
