Ok... I`ll pick up Lamp´s idea and start a nostalgia thread.

Lego. When I saved up my pocket money, popped down to the local toy store & bought a small box. Got 3 massive boxes of it in my parents garage somewhere. Must be worth a bit now

Interesting that Moriath mentioned Battle of the Planets... or Science Ninja Team Gatchaman to give it its proper title (hence the G on the belts)

Battle of the Planets as shown in UK was the USA version but with all the violence taken out. To Cover the story line for the missing bits US decided to make that damn robot 7 Zark 7 and his stupid dog 1 Rover 1, to explain it all.

I liked it too as a kid, but cant help feeling cheated by dumbass american execs heh, coulda been better!

Its all specialist parts that cant really be used for anything else, and that was the fun part!

But yeh, born in '86 so about the only thing I remember was a rerun of The Family Ness.

rofl I miss cartoons that were actually drawn and not all computerised, I miss toys that are actually quite dangerous, I miss sweets that were so bad for you you'd go hyperactive for about 3 hrs after eating them!! I miss the smell of pubs; beer, crisps, smoke and dog (depending on the pub).

Everything is so bland and 'safe' these days.
