I'm more weirded out by the Kobayashi benching for this weekend, if its about points then Kobayashi has been consistently quicker than Ericcson - so replace him instead, if it's about money then I get it. On the other hand if they want a direct comparison with the new "32 year old" guy vs Ericcson then I get it.

Apart from that I'm just bewildered.

love the crowd reaction to rosberg on podium. Booing him everytime his name was mentioned. Ruined a good race by what looked like a little purposeful tap.

I think it was very cold and calculated, you can see when he decides to stay on track instead of taking the run off.
Same w/ the monaco incident.
He's running a ruthless campaign to win the WDC, and I think he will.

3 x facepalms to le brits fan bois, it was a simple racing incident nothing more, although a bit unusual to see from two team mates.

It was stupid from Rosberg in his desperation to prove he could race Hamilton wheel to wheel.

Watch the replays.

If its a simple racing incident why are Niki Lauda and Toto Wolff shitting on Rosberg publicly.

Because it was a team mate, had he done anything criminal the race judges would have penalized him.
As I said, it was an odd situation seeing as they're teammates and all.

/Shrug, Guess you have to not be a british Hamilton fan to notice ;)

I'm pretty sure the marshals/judges etc will be monitoring the race and would penalize any illegal contact no matter the if it's a team mate or not?
But then again my knowledge of such things is very much limited to what I'm being told be the voices inside my tv.

Watch the replay from inside Rosberg's car... Racing incident, yes. BUT one that an experienced driver should not be doing. If Verstappen done that next year I wouldn't be surprised, a very young rookie mistake. An experienced driver knows exactly where the wing of his car is. Rosberg turned in, saw there was going to be a collision, straightened out again, then turned in yet again at a time where the wing would clip the tyre and not the rim. He would not have took that risk at any other time of losing his wing and gaining nothing.
It really did look cynical and you find a lot of the time the reason marshalls look at things is because the team push for it, that is why you often see racing incidents looked at and no penalty given. The team wanted a decision on if it was just a racing incident (You will hear the drivers saying things such as "Charlie needs to look at that" over the radio). They will not push for a decision against their own drivers thus the chances of it being looked at are much lower, and with that in-car view of the movement on the steering wheel then it would likely have been a 5second stop and go penalty at least.

Meh,
Waaay too much conspiracy in those views and theories.
So far the only complaints I have heard or read are those coming from Hamilton fans, usually that's a sign in it self ;)

Remember this? Lewis got a penalty for it.

To conclude, shut your cockholster.

No ;)

And ofcause the two team bosses wont be happy with the outcome.
Keywords here being: bad for us and unacceptable risk, as in from a team perspective.
with which I'd completly agree.

However, it's still a simple racing incident, be it a silly one at that.

Well if that's true then he's a cunt and I'll take it all back, I still have my doubt that I'll have to.

He probably admitted it but didn't expect it to become public. And it clear from any experienced viewer that he could have avoided contact but choose to make contact rather then avoid it and drop back a little to make an attempt later. Doubt it all you want but even if I wasn't british I would say the same thing (and have done in the past).

Doesn't change anything really, he made the stupid mistake and it cost the recipient more.

Yes a simple racing incident by a driver who should know better but knew it was his only chance to win. It is very easy to see that he could have done it on purpose very much a Schumacher move. I think it is bad for the championship and I would have liked Lewis to win as he is a more exciting driver and it would have made it more interesting.
