Holland have been very solid at the back though whilst Russia have been very counter-attacking (so have Holland mind you but their attacking options far exceed the Ruski's).

I think the boys in orange will keep a clean sheet and win.

I am hoping Russia score first on Saturday to really open the dutch up.

Some of the passing and movement off the ball yesterday was superb. They played well against Spain mind but got caught themselves on the counter attack.

I still fancy Croatia. Gutted Eduardo is not fit cause I would have really fancied them.

Well the rule was made to prevent two teams of the same group to play agaisnt each other in final. And don't think that's a bad thing tbh, if they are the best.
There is not a perfect formula to make everyone happy, but i must admit if feels weird to see maybe the best teams of the tournament to meet in semi finals.

Not really, if you have the 4 best teams in the semis and then 2 go through you have the 2 best of the best.

Must admit the atmosphere is fantastic here in Salzburg, especially before the Greece vs Spain game where everything was good-hearted and friendly, with the Greeks and Spanairds dancing together in the centre and playing football.

Despite earlier comments, I now understand why us English will not be missed.

I think it's cool. This way Germany can take a 5 : 0 revenge on Croatia with Gomez scoring all goals and beat Italy in penalties with Ballack shooting a hole in Buffon.

"Only" problem is Ronaldo and Deco.

Great match, Kudos to both teams. I don´t think Portugal was better. Again, a monster game by Lahm and for once, Ballack managed to play on the level that he´s being payed for.

Respect to Portugal for their team and their game. With ONE exception though...

Aye Germany was the better team, they preaty much had the game under control exept for the last 10 mins of the first and second half. I idnt notice anything particulary bad about the portuguese keeper, you can hardly blame him for the goals, if your gonna blame anyone blame your poor defensive marking. And well done by the germans keeping ronaldo almost compleatly out of the game.

Was rooting for Portugal to go through, but I never really believed it.. Germany really has a strong team both defensive and offensive! Ballack and Lahm both had a great night and Schweinsteiger(my fav german player! Always buy him in PES as the first player ) did so good imo after the silly red card he recieved! One great goal and a nice assist! Don't think the 3-1 goal could have been a foul.. Yeah Ballack pushes the defender away a bit, but it was hardly a push! Was glad to see the ref didn't give a freekick for that
