Hi everyone again, i am so suprised to see the ammount of replies! I knew this would get alot but not that many, im glad it has though.

"This is rapidly becoming the fastest growing thread I've seen." perlex

It has recieved 84 replies in 15 hours and 844 views.

Well, heres what happened today.

I was walking with my mate around the corner - the way she doesnt walk, but then i thought fuck it, so i ran back, the way she was walking, and she moved out of the way to let me pass, but then i stopped, i wasnt feelin nervous which was a suprise, and i fired at my question (which i knew the anwser to, i was just trying to get a convo started)

Rob - Hi, whats your name?
Kim - *Looks at me*, emmm, Kim.......*says this in a bitchey way*
Rob - Ah cool, emm what about surname?
Kim - Jones, *looks away*

At this time i let her walk ahead, it was really suprised at her response, but i know for a fact she isnt usually like that, so i must get to know her first

i guess i should leave it for some time, hope she doesnt get a boyfriend, and wait till valentines day, then i can actually tell her i love her, without feeling a prick. Just thinking about it seems so far, like years to wait, but i dont know what else to do....

Anymore sugesstions and comments would really be appriciated and i think keeping this forum going is alot of fun, so please everyone contribute to this thread, thanx

get to know her, you say you live only a short distance away, why not call for her cause ure not gonna get anywhere if you sit on yer arse waiting for her to come to you, aint gonna happen, OR you could try an invite to the cinema with a group of people and over time whither it down to just the two of you so you can freely express yourself and know what you getting yourself into, also you gotta find out if she smokes or if she's up-herself, THEN you know what your getting yourself into

lol, well, i only know one person, who has a friend, who knows her......yeh, thats right lol, so gonna be kinda hard, and theres no way i cud get her to goto the cinema on my own, so the best thing wud to get my friend to arrange it, and say hes gonna bring sume m8s, although he dont knowher that well, i suppose i cud setup a lil chain... ill ask my m8 if he cud

Mewizard - take it slow, but keep it going...

What I mean is, get to know her - the cinema thing was a great idea. Then you can decide where to go as things develop. You're young, so take it real slow mate - you've got plenty of time.

Ok, had access to a lot of coffee tonight, so here comes Cuntplex (yeah yeah, I know, but there's 2 sides to everything)

I've been thinking over this (for the last 3 minutes or so) and realised that almost all of us, and everyone I know in real life has been through this same experience whether it was at high school, 6th form, or uni. It's a fact of life, and it's part of growing up.

Playing the percentages game, you really haven't got much of a chance. I don't say this to dishearten or upset you, but I say it point out the inescapable truth. Every one that is now saying "what a tosser" ask yourself this, 'Did you manage to get your high school crush?' In the vast majority of cases the answer is 'no'.

Why? It has little to do with who or what you are. You could be the most attractive person alive, with the most charming and endearing personality imaginable, but the girl very probably won't reciprocate. Again, why? The reason is that you are infatuated with her. You are at stage 3 or 4 of infatuation, whereas she hasn't even started to see you in that light. You're both out of sync, and on a subconsious level it can be quite frightening.

By all means, persue it - we all did to some extent and we all turned out fine. You may even be one of the lucky ones, and 'get the girl (and win $20)' but please, for your sake don't get your hopes up too high.
