Those were the only male Saracen ones i can remember from early days (Eso also ran in Pbucks group)

Dagitch and Esoteric were both Avalonian if I remember correctly, there was a Saracen called Amirder(sp) from DoA in the early days, he was #1 Sorc for a while.

Tough one. Played against the all ...

PE OF (Tank Group - Vermillion/Fader/Dreami + support, in the determination days) = Trully nasty, just ripped through SC group like a knife through butter. I remember one night we got buried 5 tmes in 1 hour ... boy were tempers getting frayed that night.

PE OF (Caster Groups - Pbuck Solarflare ...) - One of the best groups I have seen for stringing/kiting a group/zerg ever. Always nice to watch, since their judge of distance was awesome. Just far enough away so you step over the line and wham your health would flatline.

Eclipse OF/NF & NP (OF) - Best that hib have produced.

With each of these groups, it was always a result if we killed a few.

Not sure the other groups are as good, but its hard to tell when you look at how the RAs were rearranged in NF.

Dagitch was avalonian, Leviathane was briton, Civy Ava, Bubbles fatt, Amirder was sara, then there was the old boys from The Usual suspects they were always about Cabbage etc. Ezeine turned matter spec btw xD likeways i tried it for rvr/pve for a bit then respecced back. Layls was reason i continued leveling a sorc, was my love child it was.

From Alb, i can't say there's a difference between Sotl/PE, as i always lost to both.

From Mid, it's got to be Midget Mafia, ok, the others were good, but these guys were playing with a not so fotm (not gimped, but just not fotm) setup and still owned everything.

I give my vote to MM for that reason.

And for the history, Dark Rage was made from the same people that was in Pbucks, Solarflare group and from all the other greeks that played alb/pry (Rambo, Dioz, Me etc). We been unlucky because 3 weeks after we made the guild everyone had Spellcrafted armor and SI items, the times of Albion Wizzards power had gone for good and Solarflare stoped playing. So much for a greate player. For a few weeks we couldnt find any propper way to counter Mid/Hib groups with maxed all kinds of resists, for me it was the biggest inbalance in Daoc ever since we had to get a friar in group for the resits but that was a major loss of attack power for us. We had a ~rr5 friar at that time that we tried few times (Nerion) but it didnt worked well. Also there were not many (high rr enough) Merc to present against our enemies groups. Only Sousi and Tasos at the begining and due to irl staff they couldnt play enough. Suddently we had to play most of the times with 1-2 merc in group being rr3-4 against a Hib/Mid groups full of rr7+.

So some of us moved on Hib/Excal to try some hib since as we thought there was no chance for albion group in rvr. Almost everyone from Dark Rage came on Hib/excal for at least a month, then some people got bored and started to return to Alb/Pry. There we played with Moofio, Roofio and Athina, also is there i played with Blej for first time ROFL what a guy :worthy: and good player . I stayed on Excal till i had rr5 bard and rr5 BM but a litle later i ruturned to Alb/Pryd.

Meanwhile Gohrim and Eterion had formed PE and as everyone from Hib/Excal was returning to Prydwen they invited us one by one. So all the players for Dark Rage went to PE except Toxii, Shorti, Tasos and Bullveye that joined FL, Toxii became one of FL guild leaders later.

The rest mostly known to everyone.

Even for high rr groups like ours, but the true power of that group was the overpower zerker, by the time we needed to kill 2 of the SMs, Exe by his own could bring down one cleric in BoF with me beeing rooted or mezzed or stunned, also they had a shamman that actualy knew what to do with the class. Exe had one job to kill the clerics at all cost and thats what he was always doing, when he couldnt do it due to nerf it was over for them. When the zerker got nerfed MM started to falling easy and then they stoped.

There were many times that our clerics died just by Exe having BoF up. Yes LA needed a nerf.

My belive is that Mythic made LA so strong becuase there was no endurance rengen of any kind before SI, so zerkers could do just 2-3 strongs hit on the enemies and that was balanced. They could kill 1-2 targets fast with vendo and styles. But when endurance came it was plain overpowered. Mythic didnt bothered (as always) to predict what consequenses endurance regen could have on the game.


p.s Thank god hibs never bothered with melee groups when they were the only realm with end regen.

And only few weeks before SI came somewhere in Lyonesse you could find a young Briton Sorcerer xping the way up to 50, his name was Saitoh!!

I still remember the first time we took him in rvr group with Pbuck, he was siting next to me at Rambos net cafe and his hands were shakeing.
