Out of sheer boredom, in an attempt to start some sort of debate, I thought i'd list my favourite games, although I couldn't put them into particular order:

Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy VII
Street Fighter 2 (Including the alpha games, marvel v capcom etc.)
Super Mario World
Sonic CD
Soul Calibur
Tekken Tag Tournament
Gran Turismo III
Secret of Mana
Doom II

  • Elite
  • Atic Atac - first game I played ok.
  • Civ 2
  • Paradroid

In no particular order of course.

Day of the Tentacle, Sam n Max, Monkey Island 1 & 2 (3 & 4 are NOT included) and Grim Fandango...

hmmm ive not had experience of a great number of games but..

Quake 2 - absoloutely love that game online, spent the last year and a half wasting my time playing that.

Crazy Taxi (in the arcade) spent god knows how much playing that :/

i'll have a think see if there are any others

I absolutely agree with yr choices of marioworld and secret of mana, 1 more tho-Zelda on snes.

  • SimCity 2000
  • SimCopter (Everyone else hated it, I loved it)
  • C&C Red Alert + 2 (I doubt I could spend as many hours on a game ever again)
  • Theme Park (First One)
  • Theme Hospital (Addictive)
  • UT
  • Duke Nukem 3D (Love the pipe bomb)
  • Police Quest 1
  • Half-Life
  • Need For Speed 3 ( An excellent game which never got the respect it deserved)

Not too keen on the rest of yer picks tho. RA2 is fun but not a classic.

lol my desktop thread turned out into one of those, unintentionaly of course.

However my fav games would have to be, in no specific order..

Chucky Egg (omg that game still owns now :D)

Joe Blade (old speccy game, had months of fun playing that as a kid)
