I does seem to have turned into who can post the messiest room. Anyway, I'll post my desk after I get a new desk and leather chair... If I can be bothered to charge my camera.

Bit extravagant? Besides leather is uncomfortable for sitting on for long periods.

I don't intend to sit on it! I just want my room to look nice.

If you buy a decent leather chair (none of this £60 clearance shit from office world) it's extremely comfortable to sit on. But then again, you've come out with weird stuff before, such as blonde women not being attractive etc ;).

Slight update to the desktop. Please excuse the work in progress projector screen in the background. When watching DVDs, the TFT just sits off to the right infront of the bottle of JD ;).

And in addition to the desktop, how do you like this apple:

Watching DVDs has never been so amazing.

The screen is finished and it looks something like this:

And for a more elevated angle looking down onto the screen:

All I need to get that is a really bloody large amount of cash to appear in my hand right now.

How much did that cost you Biggie?

The projector alone was £1200.

Do you go to the cinema with the lights on?

Really nice setup. How far away is that projector, the picture is so clear and i could see your head getting in the way. My friend has a decent projector too and Halo in 4 player is top fun. Like having a 29" trinitron x 4 for everyplayer.

And which projector is that too?

Just for Clown, because we all love him dearly

Believe it or not, the side lights in my room are on (behind the screen). Because the picture is so bright (and the flash off on the camera), the digital camera isn't really picking up on the background light very well (believe me it's there, you can see the orange hue to the right of the screen of the light). The latest DLP projectors can handle ambient light very well, in stark contrast to the older LCD and CRT designs of years ago.

Doomy, the projector is about 10 feet or so from the screen and gives about a 65" screen (it can be as large as 250"). Farcry is in-fucking-credible. The projector is an Optoma H30 and is tipped as the best entry level money can buy. I got a demo of a Sim2 Domino at £3600 which, although it was slightly sharper with it's higher res, it wasn't worth three times the price.

I'd like to see the setup. How big is that projection?
