Michael was enjoyable. Sidestepped all the awkward :)

What next during the buildup?

Jordan Henderson, my favourite player of the tournament. Gets a yellow in an England win, and he's not even on the pitch! :)

And it looks like he's had our worst injury too? Stretchered off with oxygen.

"Hey, you want 4 quarters for your advertisers? Yeah sure, we can do that.

And all the pundits, we'll sack them if they call it advertising breaks or say they don't like it. Check."

Still waiting for adverts to come in over the VAR decisions in the Prem, that you said was just around the corner about 6 years ago. Any day now...

Happens in other countries. Straight in there in the US.

6 years ago I said it was a long term play. 6 years is not long term. It's the blink of an eye.

Still. Ad breaks noe they've chopped football into quarters for this world cup. And pretty much every world cup from now on (it'll be delayed in Europe). < I'm calling that too. And just like VAR, I'll be proven right. Again.

So Norway booted Brazil out of the World Cup, and they're facing England next. Maybe you should be at least a little bit worried? :)

Seriously though, what the hell Norway? What happened to you? :)

It's knockout football. Remember when Greece won the Euros? :)

Should be fun. Might even watch it. Getting to the interesting bits now. I'd like to see England win largely because I dislike Haaland. But I do have a soft spot for Norway, despite never having been.

It's great that the football could do the talking (although I assume Belgium now faces 1000% tariffs or something), but its depressing that nothing can be done about Infantino.

Best comment that has come out of it so far "Expect tarifs on our beer and chocolates, and the ref gets deported."

It's no fluke, Norway has heavily invested in grass roots football.

Oil money, plus something I didn't know, their gambling is state owned at something like 75% of the revenue goes to grassroots football which is like 300m.

Even Sepp Blatter is up in arms about how FIFA are behaving. Sepp Blatter.
