I think Klopp has done OK given the resources. He will have a yard sale over the summer and bring in who he wants, well, probably not who he wants but who he can get but at least they won't be Benteke and co.

I think he's done well, considering two finals. But I don't think he's going to get who he wants.

I think he's going to realise that it's a bigger job than he expected after the Bundesliga and he's going to feel very compromised*.



*Edit: Like all incoming LFC managers. And I don't want it (again). I want him to not bother spending on shite because he feels like he must. I don't need to see us competing on "all fronts" with a great "squad". I want to compete on just the one...

I don't think this will hurt Klopp he does not look like the type to go after £50-£60m players anyway. I think avoiding Europe will be good for Liverpool, from 63 games to a maximum of 50 if they reach both cup finals. That could be a big difference and I really do think it helped Leicester this year.
