Fàbregas has had a bit of stinker, it is concerning because it will be targeted by other teams if you don't work around him being cut off or having a stinker.
Probably not but this is the best I've seen us play in I don't know how long. Poch and his training methods have led to our fitness levels being off the charts across the board. I was heartened by how we played United but today was another level of awesome. We've only seen glimpses of his philosophy shining through up to now but this was pretty much 90 minutes of brillo-pad. And against Chelsea no less.
Coupled with Liverpool, West Ham, United and Swansea all drawing and of course Arsenal losing and today is officially a good day.
Now watch us get spanked by Burnley in the Cup on Monday.
Also fuck Mourinho for his post match comments. Looking for excuses at every turn. Nobody cares how it would be if you had gone 2-0 up, Jose, because you didn't go 2-0 up. We put 5 past the best defense in the league and he doesn't even have the decency to say a) how great a game it was and b) how good we were (I've not seen a whole interview, just what was on the beeb live text).
It's a bit of a shame - we were thoroughly outplayed in pretty much every area of the pitch. It's one thing to lose a game to a contentious decision that is the ref's fault, it's another to try and do the same when we shipped a number of what looked to be very soft goals - not to take anything away from Spurs because they did everything right.
Costa needs a bit of time on the bench I think - he has not been the beast he was to start with.
