scottish teams dont know how to play football. Been to a single game up here (rangers match 5yrs or so back), and it was absolutely fucking dire. Not sure which was worse, the football on the pitch or the lack of knowledge of the fans (Someone was about 15yrds offside and fans around me yelling it was a ridiculous decision etc)

How much would it cost to sack pardew? And who out there could replace him right now?

could kick of another round of the managerial musical chairs I guess

Steve Bruce was the favourite a couple of weeks ago but he's doing OK at Hull I'm not sure he'd go for it tbh.

IIRC his contract was something like 8 years.

There's no way Steve Bruce would leave Hull for us like.

With regards to the compensation Pardew would get from a sacking, I refuse to believe a businessman as financially motivated and experienced as Ashley would overlook putting some kind of clause in Pardew's contract to prevent him getting 5+ years wages in the event of him getting the boot.

It's ok though, we only have to put up with him until the end of the 2019-2020 season! No doubt he'll have another lucky year in there and get a contract extension to 2075.

well with the way we are playing at the moment I think that's more our level anyway, we might win a few games....

I sincerely hope we are not left to rue so many chances like we did against Schalke

Chelsea should be scoring all these chances, should be about 5/6-0

Rode our luck to the nth degree tonight, but top of the group.

Wonder how Costa will shape up for Sunday, I guess Mourinho is not worried about breaking him because it'd actually give him a 2 week break, rather than Spain breaking him further.

He's probably absolutely fine, Jose is just trying to get his star striker out of international duty.

Can't blame him, usually players get injured. Lets face it, i've pulled my hamstring and it sucks to walk around, let alone run around for 90 minutes full pace at a high competitive level.

Chel$ki fans are never pleased. I'd be thrilled just to be in the Champions league! Heck, I'd be thrilled if we would be able to continuously win matches in the Danish league! Remember where you were 12 years ago prior to Abramovich and oil money?

Gervinho is funny, it's like his legs are working independently of the rest of his body and he is never sure what they are going to do next
