Ah I see we are returning to the net spend argument again to try and justify the statement, it doesn't change how much you spend just that some chumps paid you a lot for a crap striker.

It was having the best strike force and a lack of European games that'll be key if they win the league.

It really does make a difference though, they're not simply buying players with money from their sugardaddies etc...

No our owners have wasted a lot of money but it still doesn't change the fact that no team in the last decade or more has won the PL without spending money and that will include LP as well if they win, development alone is never enough as proven by another top team.

and they also bought Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling for absolute bargains. 45 mil for the best strike force the premier league has seen in years? Someone is doing their job properly.

Yet they have spent (substantially) less than City and Chelsea and have therefore not bought the prem.

...and Net spend is everything. They don't have someone throwing an endless amount of money at the club to get the square pegs to fit the round hole, unlike City and the chavs who will just spend more and more until they win it. Whatever Liverpool spend they have to have already earned through sales, which they have done.

Yes they were bargains, after the fact which is probably the reason they'll struggle to keep hold of one of them.

Yes but they don't generate our revenue which mainly comes via European competitions, nor do they have our owners admittedly.

Only if you try to justify a bad argument regarding not spending to win the league, to me there was only one club that came close to winning and wouldn't have bought it in various years they've got close and that has been Arsenal although now even they've started to spend.

Well if you wish to be childish to win your poorly constructed counter argument by constantly referring to Chelsea as chavs then so be it, although it is to be expected.

Arsenal were never close to winning the premiership.

Typing chavs is easier than typing Chel$ea and seeing as they are a club of zero class its about right. Also, it isn't a bad arguement, the facts stand for themselves. Liverpool have spent less than City and the chavs yet are top of the prem. Spent less both Gross and Net so...

...and struggle to keep hold of who exactly? Sturridge will stay without a doubt, Sterling will stay without a doubt and to get Suarez away after his recent contract extention will probably cost 100mil. That's 100mil to buy a replacement plus shore up the defence, which is Liverpools only real weakness, and not that much of a weakness to be honest.

Best part if this statement, is having the best strike force... Chelsea sold sturridge quite happily, as did city

I just think that Gerrard deserves it from totally changing his game and still excelling at it.

I guess it would be quite ironic and hilarious if Liverpool sold Sturridge to the chavs for 50 mil.

He didn't excel in either of those teams, would of preferred to offload Torres...in fact would of preferred not to buy him in the first place like I've said all along.

Gerrard's a holding midfielder this season. Yaya's box-to-box. The stats reflect that. Where Yaya should be stronger he is, where Gerrard should be, he is...

He has managed to adapt but what will happen next year, who have you got who can replace him? To me I just favour Yaya for player of the year over the rest, Hazard has got a bit cold at times but he has a bright future.

I didn't realise both LP and MC have Crystal place to play at Selhurst Park, they might provide a bump for them and then MC have Everton as well so could be difficult although neither are exactly fighting for survival.

The facepalm is for the usual annoying nature of LP fans whether they are gloating over ancient victories or really being dumb enough to try and make out they are the underdogs when playing at home with the best strike force in the league against one of the worst strike forces in the league at the same time as not even having to play European games, do you really think any one else buys it when talking about the Liverpool vs Chelsea game.
I said losing to Chelsea is plausable, not nailed on. They're not second for nothing. Today's result changes nothing in terms of what Liverpool need to do. As for being dumb maybe you should re-read my posts, see how neutrel and realistic they are and stop being such an agressive arsehole.

Ironic saying about reading your posts yet you failed on two counts, one my statement was based on LP fans not you alone and secondly why I was giving him those ratings. As for being aggressive I don't think so, but then I suspect LP fans don't think they are one of the most irritating either.

Irritating because they are a club with a bit of history upsetting the money boys who would have been championship at best without a billionaire owner?

Talk more shit. You're face palm was for me alone, which you then expanded on as being because I'm a typical annoying Liverpool fan blah blah blah stuff and shit. Also that I'm too dumb to realise that no one else in the world thinks that it's even possible that Chelsea won't lose 35-0 at Anfield.

Did I miss any key points?
