I am sure they will manage to lose it somehow - usually a big self destruct around Christmas.

I hope not, would rather enjoy an Arsenal title win, that and I don't have the usual 'they're going to bottle it' feeling I usually get around Arsenal going for Silverware.

Very few Arsenal fans are talking about winning anything yet. I have said all along until we have faced the big boys I am saying nothing. And all these people predicting Arsenal falling apart over Christmas it is a pretty fucking safe guess to make considering the run of games we have in December.

Yes but if you win tomorrow it'll give you the ability to lose at least 2 games and still be in the lead, but tomorrow isn't going to be an easy game.

I haven't even looked at your run of games - its just an Arsenal tradition in recent years - very charitable they are to keep the table interesting...

True, yet the 'title challengers' have all buggered up at the 'shit' (e.g. Cardiff, Hull, Villa, etc) where as this Arsenal side have yet to come truly unstuck.

I was going to take exception to that but I can see we are three points behind bag of shit teams like Man United, so fair comment.

Also, let's not forget that Arsenal did lose to Villa on the opening day.

And we lost to Utd who just got beat by Newcastle. And lmao about him handing in a transfer request.

RVP according to reports.

It is meant to be a get rid of the manager or I am leaving transfer requests.

And also that Kagawa had to have his stomach pumped after eating too much.

I was in stitches watching that! :D

Mind you, I'm getting sick of the 'big' teams (Chelsea, Spurs, United) saying they weren't 'up for it' on the day against us. Fuck off, we stopped you from playing, that's why you looked like shite.

It seems RVP might still be pissed because Meulensteen was a big part of him joining United and Moyes let him go.

Like with Arsenal RVP has zero loyalty for Utd if all he wants is to win things then he might really want out.

But if he wants another move to a "bigger" club he is running out of time.

Moyes didn't let him go. He quit because he wanted to be manager at a club and not second fiddle.

Given our form in recent seasons I think you are wrong tbh. 48 out of 63, 15 points dropped over 4 years for a team chasing 4th is not collapsing by a long shot.

2012 - 12 out of 15 points
Newcastle United 7 - 3
Wigan Athletic 1 - 0
Reading 5 - 2
W.B.A. 2 - 0
Swansea 0 - 2

2011 13 out of 18 points
QPR 1 - 0
Wolverhampton W. 1 - 1
Aston Villa 2 - 1
Manchester City 0 - 1
Everton 1 - 0
Wigan Athletic 4 - 0

2010 7 out of 12 points
Wigan Athletic 2 - 2
Chelsea 3 - 1
Manchester United 0 - 1
Fulham 2 - 1

2009 16 out of 18 points
Portsmouth 4 - 1
Aston Villa 3 - 0
Hull City 3 - 0
Burnley 1 - 1
Liverpool 2 - 1
Stoke City 2 - 0

Not much of a mention of Januzaj's ridiculously obvious dive on MOTD, or much on Hernandez's in the penalty box either. Why should he booked though, he's a Man United player at the 'theatre of dreams' (Lol).

The thing United is that they have Moyes and not Fergie. That is the difference now. United didn't have that great a squad last season, but they managed to win title because of Fergie. He would have subbed RVP if he was shit and made it work. Moyes doesn't the authority to do something like that yet. No one would have questioned Fergie's choice, but they do with Moyes. He is under different kind pressure

I think he is doing a fantastic job of letting someone else win.

Quite a few prem ties so far in the FA Cup 3rd round draw...

United vs. Swansea
Norwich vs. Fulham
Newcastle vs. Cardiff
West Brom vs. Crystal Palace

Good news for the lower league teams.

edit: Arsenal vs. Tottenham

Oooooooh.

I was thinking of that time of year when Arsenal go from 4 competitions to 1 in the space of a fortnight - is that Feb?
