Everton reject £30+mil for Fellain. If Moyes wanted him why on earth did he not buy him while the buy out clause was in place. There is no way the price was going to go down was there.

I'm disappointed that Tom Carroll has gone to QPR on loan and not either a Prem club or (as suggested on Friday) Ajax after the Eriksen deal. He's not going to learn a thing, he's going to get lots of playing time but I can't help feeling that Ajax would've been much more helpful for him.

I also can't wait for the gooners to come down and realise that however awesome Ozil is, there's only one of him and they didn't even need anyone in that position! It's a great signing (althought £200k a week must make Wenger sob quietly) but wtf are they going to do for rotation with CL games etc. They're going to run Wilshere into the ground, probably Ramsey too.

Looks like Fellaini will be done for £27.5m, so all is not lost for United (even if that is a high price for him). I'm not sure why they've been given more time by the FA though?

I'll also be very annoyed if United get Coentrao, we've been fluttering our eyelids at him for most of the window. So much for a fucking special relationship, they go on and on about Bale all Summer, they sell Ozil to our fiercest rivals and now it looks like they might loan Coentrao to United. Thanks, partners.

I think Ozil is a great signing but I think that money could have been better spent.

Rotation wise our midfield is looking ok.

The two attacking positions
Rosicky, Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey, Cazorla, Ozil

The defensive position
Arteta, Flamini , Diaby, Frimpong

The Front 3 look ok number wise too.
Miyaichi, Podolski, Giroud, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sanogo, Park, Bendtner

Our defense is shocking number wise a quality wise the money could have been spent better in better areas. The defensive midfield position has a player who has not played 3 month since breaking his ankle, Frimpong who has done both his cruciates now? Flamini who has just missed two season injured? And Arteta who is playing out of position. That and CB should have been priorities.

But I am going to choose be be optimistic that Ozil turns a few misses into goals and that will be enough for us to stay above Spuds this season. I think Wenger is right it will take a while for 7 new players to settle for Spuds and they need to hope that one of them can become the Bale replacement and win games on his own, only time will tell.

They cleared this up when everyone thought Arsenal had done this a year or so ago. If both clubs submit that a transfer has been agreed then they get 24 hours to tie up the player terms ect. So if Man U and Everton both just said they have agreed a free for him then they have time to get the deal done.

Some bizarre reports coming out regarding United's collapsed Herrera deal. Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud.

I'm more than happy with our business overall, it's a pity we couldn't get a new LB on Levy-time at the end but I think Lamela and Eriksen in particular are going to be absolute stars for us. Oh, and we actually came out in profit.

I said most of that. But we managed to field teams last year and none of the players that left were first team regulars. So getting Ozil in adds quality to that role and leaves 3 great options for the number 10 role. That is good rotation options. Not to mention the kids than can come in for micky mouse games. Defence however and DM is bad very bad.
