Nah Palace was a season long loan. With us covering 70% of his wages or something stupid. The full transfer was to a Danish side. We waved any fee so he then wanted his full £60k a week which they would not pay so we subsidized that to the tune of £3m but he still found a way to fuck that up.

Everton have done surprisingly well, I thought Martinez might struggle there but he got (too much) money for Fellaini and brought in good talent McCarthy, Barry and (especially) Lukaku.

Also Apart from a money splashing start on Allen and Boroni which was a bit over the top, Rodgers has done well in the market. Hasn't lost Suarez (though for 50 million I'd rather he went, we play better as a team without him) Gone from having 3 CB that a least one of was always injured for about the last 3 years to having 5 that are all quality, signed some excellent young players in Sturridge and Coutinho. With Moses' loan move and when Suarez is back we'll have 4 strikers rather than the 1 we had at the start of last season, and that's after loaning out Boroni. Also have some actual depth for once.

Moses will be the the 4th standin for the striker position I would guess. 4 players for 1 position seems enough cover, only problem is that adding anyone but Sturridge as striker needs rotation on all wing positions.
I would have prefered to keep Borini though.
