I agree. I'm just bitter :p

A couple of years ago I couldn't sit through a single half of it. Some of the Denmark games have been pretty good tbh

The Chadli deal is done and dusted and *apparently* an agreement has been reached regarding Soldado...

Spurs have (imo) quite a sick team right now tbh. I think they will trump Arsenal to top4 this season.
It would be interesting if United fell out of the top 4, does anyone think its a posibility this year?

I like the way the English women's team try and emulate the men's. Solidarity at its best!

Nope, they have got basically the same squad as last year but with less players. Maybe a couple of players will shine this season but I can't see them winning anything. All the teams around them have improved their squads. This will be the season Spurs finish ahead of Arsenal (Unless they bottle it again)

Yeah the way things are going they will dominate. Really wouldn't be surprised to see City 1st, Chelsea 2nd, Spurs 3rd UTD 4th Liverpool 5th Arsenal 6th.

Spurs aren't going anywhere without a striker. If Arsenal do get Suarez they've got a very good team. Liverpool finishing 5th is lol. It's a massive season for united, on paper their squad isn't as good as Chelsea or City. We'll see now how much of an effect Fergie had, and how good a manager Moyes really is.

Barcelona tell United "no" again for Fabregas. United really need to get some of this transfer business put to bed.

Quite funny listening to the Chelsea bores at work banging on about it. Because Chelsea would never tap up a player.

It is interesting reading about the transfers that are poised waiting for other transfers. Like if Ronaldo signs for RM then Rooney will be allowed to go to Chelsea and then United will go for Bale.

And it might just be me but Striker is not the first player Arsenal should go for. Center Back Cover and DM should be top of the list. If it is today that Feallani for £22mil expires we are stupid for not going for him.

Arsenal won't buy Suarez...it's a show bid to keep the fans happy, they will aim to scrape champions league qualification again to keep the bank manager happy (but miss out). Liverpool finished last season pretty strongly and have strengthened their squad, Rogers is doing a good job there. Spurs have bought some decent players and looked good most of last season until they bottled it, they are a more experienced squad now though. They do need a decent striker I agree. UTD and Moyes haven't done much except upset Rooney, they struggled last year at the back and not done anything to fix it. City have just bought the title again.

Haven't Arsenal let a few players go without signing anyone? Seems like they need both first teamers and a few squad players to me. They certainly won't be getting a top class forward imo, there aren't any left, same with Man Utd and a midfielder.

At this point I almost want us to sign Suarez just so I can laugh at Raven, he is so depressing.

But so far it is worrying we have mainly got rid of fringe players who were either on loan or did not feature so I do not think we have weakened in terms of the team. But the squad is weaker. It is what we need though we need to get rid of the dead wood we still need even more players out and we can replace some of the squad players with reserves that we do not send out on loan.

If we want to win anything this year we need to buy players and with the club all buy confirming we can spend over £100m if Wengers buys no one again there will be a backlash. I really do think the club are serious about Suarez a 30 goal a season man in the team we had last season would have made a real difference. But if we want to be beating the likes of Utd and winning cups we need a exceptional DM.

Yeah but I suspect the reality is he is closer to the truth than you like to admit, not another year where Arsenal make a lot of noise but the transfer windows closes again with no real result.

Yet every year Arsenal finish top 4 when teams below them spend loads of money.

Soze is right- Arsenal need to ship out as many of their under performing players as they can as a priority. Diaby, Gervinho, that Korean player and (IMO) Ramsey all need to go.

As for signings, they need a 25+ goal striker if they can get one. Saurez would be the perfect player to start alongside Giroud IMO. Quick and brilliant with the ball at his feet - he'd probably score less goals than at Liverpool but would get loads of assists. Unfortunately he's a right cunt and is probably out of Arsenal's price range. Hernandez would be a good signing if possible. United would almost certainly tell them to do one just as Liverpool have though. Maybe a cheeky £35m bid for Tevez?

They would be mad not to go in for Fellaini. I expect the delay is nothing to do with the transfer fee but negotiating contracts with greedy agents. If they can get Vermaelen playing well again I actually think the defence is fine. They should be matching any bids united put in for Fabregas as well.

Annnnndd, next week it begins again. Preston away for a mighty pish-up, now to invent a Leigh Griffiths chant and the day will be saved.

I had no idea! Not really been keeping up with the transfers going on this summer.
I didn't either tbh, the only reason I knew he was playing in Europe now was because of that community service bollocks a few weeks ago.

That's fine but at the rate they are going they will have a starting 11 and only a starting 11, they are shipping out all these players but not replacing them, with the amount of injuries they seem to pick up every season they are really going to struggle this season.

I think at the end of the day, Wenger needs to go.

Wengers problem is he treats the money like it is his. So with Liverpool and Suarez if he thinks he is worth £40m he will wait until deadline day and will walk away from a £42m transfer rather than paying more than he wants too. I think it would be better if he just gave someone else a name and let them worry about the money.
