Lots of misplaced passes that had nothing to do with being stifled. Modric too. I think Bale himself would admit he didn't have a good game. No denying he's had a great first season overall though.

Anyone watching the play offs? I did want Orient to win, but Rotherham just seem a tonne better, and that second goal was a proper belter.

I was so fucking miserable yesterday. The sadness is contagious when you're around other fans all day. I went for a massive 2 hour run and got it out of my system. If we can keep the spine of our current team I will be well up for next season. Hopefully we can do a Brentford.

Anyone scheming up their bets for the coming WC? I think Spain are good odds at 8/1 on Betfair. England are about 30/1 which is probably worth a punt. Can't decide on top goalscorer though.

Basically Southampton will have to sell all the talent under him to stay afloat so looks like he will be off to Spurs.

I kinda want him to be honest. I reckon the Argentinian connection could work wonders with Lamela and he does play some lovely football. It's a toss-up between him and de Boer, currently. Apparently Levy said that he won't look to any currently-unemployed managers which (thankfully) rules out Moyes and Laudrup, among others.

I still have not seen the expected Wenger sign new deal. If we were to believe the hype he had already agreed the deal and it just needed to be signed. I would have thought it would have been done fairly fast.

Its not half way through the transfer window yet. If he is to troll you again he has to leave it to the very last minute to sign a new contract and then buy nobody.

Add for spurs and pochettino, great manager but levy eel have to support him and not just sack him if things go badly. He's clearly an ambitious manager, and it's a shame Southampton are a selling club as they can't entice him to stay.

Agreed. I think people are seriously underestimating the conditions in Brazil. All the teams in England's group are better set up for Brazil in June.
