Also gutted about Ashley leaving. Throughout his time here he was easily the best in the world at his position, and his goal-line clearances were immense. Say what you like about the man, as a footballer he is top notch. I agree that the old guard need to move on, and this seems a bit more controlled and measured than AVB's "let's piss everyone off so they leave" approach, still hurts when they go though.
