1 point with the chance of a counter attack goal would have been better than 0 points and another loss. We are in 4th and have the easier run in they had to win a draw would have suited us.

Well considering today's display I'm not sure that yours is easier in reality.

Don't be overly dramatic bar the draw with Swansea we have been playing teams at our level. If we don't win the rest of this seasons games Wenger needs to change. And Everton have Utd and City they have a tougher run in.

I reckon they will beat MU and stand a good chance of getting a draw out of MC, where as I can't help but feel you'll suffer a defeat away some where when the opposition roughs you up a bit.

It's fine though, Scouse likes it when humans make mistakes with the big decisions...

Be interesting if he still thinks that if Liverpool miss out on the prem by a point or 2 :)

Fucking hell Gary make your mind up. If a defender slides in but makes no contact it is a penalty if the keeper does it and makes contact its not?

And the amount of penalty's Liverpool are getting is fucking crazy.

Weak refereeing. No way that would've been given if he did not fuck up the 1-1. I'll take it though :)

...at least my one had a bit of accuracy. We didn't lose on the opening day so there!

Yours was very obviously made by some bitter little gooner somewhere whereas mine was made by a funny person. :)

I may agree but in reality Spurs have done worse and technically spent more money to get there :p

Need one for Chelsea ;)

How do you figure that out? Our net spend in the summer window was £-2.2m, Arsenal's was £+31.5m. Of course, perceived value from our respective investments is a different thing entirely but "technically" we didn't spend nearly as much as them...

They should've either done it months ago or waited til the end of the season. They've pretty much guaranteed relegation for themselves it seems. Although they have a motherfucker of a run-in so they would be screwed either way I guess.

You still spent more, if you want to shift the argument to net spending then sure but it is even more funny that what you mainly gained in that area from the sale of one player has arguable been a total waste on multiple players since you'll finish lower in the league this year.

...meh, we can still end up breaking our record points total again so it's not all bad. And it's not been a *total* waste - Soldado stands out but Lamela has been injured since forever, Capoue, Paulinho, Chiriches have all spent significant amounts of time injured but have all showed promise. Eriksen is fantastic, Chadli has been a pleasant surprise.

We just need a real manager to, y'know, manage them. Sherwood is going a bit loopy it seems, he knows he won't be there next year (he's apparently even going to be in the dugout tomorrow!). I think if we got Van Gaal, we'd see an instantaneous improvement across the whole team. The players obviously have zero respect for Sherwood and it's difficult to blame them tbh.

Who ever takes the Norwich reins is a nutter. Their last five games may very welk result in 0 points and relegation

Liverpool riding their luck, beat Utd because of penalties, beat West Ham because of penalties. 'SAS' couldn't break down a Hammers defence, let alone go up against the big guns of City & Chelsea, cant' wait to see them bomb in Europe.

With the owner "allegedly" sending an email saying even if the win the league there is no money for new signings. So if the want the bigger squad then there will be no SAS they need to sell to buy.

I have been reading Facebook and there are some really rational reasons for why Wenger might need to step down. The one that holds weight for me is the tactics argument. Wenger has been accused for a long time of being unable to formulate a plan b. And I don't care what anyone one here says about the squad size he has the players to make a different game plan, the question is does he have the ability or is he stubborn. You look at managers like Martinez and Rodgers when something isn't working they make changes on the fly. They also change before individual games when necessary.

Has Wenger just gone stale? Has he just been figured out after being in the same league for so long? I really hope we win the FA Cup so he can go graciously.

Its actually been Wenger's problem for years. It was the one thing that always made SAF a better manager; he could rearrange a team with 10 seconds left on the clock if necessary.

I think its a cunning plan to beat Wigan, look like a team made up of pretend footballers to lull them into a false sense of security. Wigan will be well up for the game.
