I wish they would send players off for clear dives. Especially if said diver tries to claim a penalty or worse tries to have the defender carded.

That is not a dive though he kicks the ground. And playing devils advocate if he is looking across the box he COULD think that he kicked the defender not the ground maybe possibly. Or not.

I think the general thought is that he felt that he was pushed or somebody stood on his foot a couple of steps before he kicked the ground and fell over.

Sorry Soze, but I don't buy that for one sec. Like countless others who've played the game I've tried kicking the ground instead of the ball. Yes it's embarrassing, no I haven't done it infront of 80.000. But I've never mistaken it for a tackle or a push. He knew damn well! Yet his ego tried to pass it off as a foul. = A twat!
