I guess it evens out - the ref took no action about the crowd of madrid players surrounding him indicating a card which strictly speaking is a yellow card offence.

Bendtner needs to accept he's not as good as he thinks he is, he'd be the main man at a smaller club pushing for Europa league. If he accepted that he's not going to earn the big bucks anymore, he might get to play some actual football.

Exactly what basically everyone in Denmark has been saying for the past five years. I doubt we'd take him in Copenhagen, but a mid-tier EPL club could benefit from him and he could likewise benefit from them. A team like Stoke could perhabs use him as their new target man with their hoof-ball-tactics

Friend of mine used to play with him before he went to Arsenal and they were genuinly good friends. When he comes visits their team now, no one bothers talking to him. My friend told me that Bendtner has turned into the biggest arrogant twat he has ever encountered

great performance from us in Russia tonight. really solid defensively, no real threat from anzhi in the whole game.

Will be trying my best to get to SJP in the next leg like, if we can defend like that but attack better (which shouldn't be a problem with Cissé back, and probably others) we should get through :D

Defoe looks a bit slow - good thing we arent relying on him for goals but it takes a while for strikers after injury.

Spuds are playing with so much confidence right now. Really need them to get a good spanking so the wheels fall off or we are not going to catch them :(
