awful penalty by rooney.. but a footbalerl learns early in the career you sometimes need to take a ball to the face or give away a penalty. The fact professionals are more interested in protecting their face always makes me laugh and cringe at the same time.

No killer goal scorer still and too many vital back bone players seemed to be missing with some of the team not picking up the slack. The two previous times Mata didn't play we got draws and not playing today we got another draw

It's unbelieveable that he wasn't given the chance when he clearly is a player who would thrive in our style of play. Another shit result and I tell you what, I've got alot of time for Stale but this is fucking piss poor and this sort of management will end up with him sacked.

But as I have mentioned earlier, when the defence fell in place he started playing some really good proper attacking football which got us in the Champions League. Have faith my friend. I quoted this on the Wolves board as it's meltdown on there (as is any fan board). It's worth sticking with him and imo he still has only got Mick dregs to work with whilst his players (Sako, Doumbia, Peszko, Boukari) carry the team.

Just watched the whole game. It was a fair result. The penalty was very harsh he was protecting his face and his arms were against his body? Jack's second yellow was deserved but Clerverly and VanPersie both had worthy second yellows not given which was a bit harsh too. But overall we did not do enough to win and we played Ramsey as a Winger again ffs.

I know they were not down at his side but he was obviously defending his face its not like they were out in front of him just to stop the ball. I can see why it could be give but it was a soft penalty.
