By that rationale you'd think there was equality between a player and a club - there isn't.

Carroll, if he stays when he isn't wanted, is holding the whole club back. Lets hope he realises that that's how some people are going to feel.

I'll feel a bit sorry for the lad if he goes - but he'll still be on shitloads of cash for playing a game.

If he digs his heels in then he's a grabber, holding my club back...

In short you think that players should be shafted to the clubs needs. So what would you do if YOUR boss came to you and said "you are not wanted here anymore, we sending you 200miles away to another office. You are going to take a 40% pay cut and sort out your own new accomodation. In the mean time you need to rent a place to stay at your own cost too. You leave tomorrow"

If I was already a millionaire and they told me thats what they want me to do - but they can't force me - then I'd man up and go take my 50k a week somewhere else and play football.

Once I'm on 20k a week for 6 months I don't give a fuck. If I'm on 20k a year then the boss can fuck off.

These are very wealthy people playing a sport -they know the score when they go in. It's not a "normal" job.

How does the Lavorpewl fans feel about not having scored against Hearts yet? Sad to see your super sub go to West Ham now?

Bollocks he got asked to go to Liverpool for x amount and now Liverpool change their mind because they get a new manager and he is meant to take a pay cut to suite the bosses? No chance anyone who is not a fan of the club does that. As a fan of Newcastle he wants to go back that is fair enough.

Reading this, some people think if you go on loan he gets a pay cut? No, West Ham just pay a % of his wages and Liverpool pay the rest.

West Ham agreed a fee for a purchase but were turned down as they would not match the wages and they were West Ham.

What has happened to reina these past few years?

He had a weak season last season and that was an epic shocker tbfh.

Liverpool dominated the game without ever being comfortable. Should have put it away. Not been impressed by Borini but Joe Allen looks good.

Hopefully with Carroll gone (who I do feel a bit sorry for - but not sorry enough to not want the club to move on just in case he "comes good") we can buy a couple of decent players.

We do need a natural goalscorer tho. Suarez isn't a striker - he's a great offensive mid or second striker. We need a natural up front to clean up.

Reina has always mixed awesomeness with mistakes :(

Carroll was never worth 35m, but I for one am a bit sad to see him go at the same time. Would have loved if he at least were given a chance in the new system (with Suarez on a flank). It is obvious Suarez can't score anymore and all the best bits of him seem to be in play when he is coming in from the sides.

Huntelaar is what you need.

Indeed, already formed a great partnership with Suarez at Ajax. Buuuuuuuut, it will be Dempsey (which is not a bad player at all but not what we need imho!)

This is at least what I think.

Oh, and Joe Allen looks _a lot_ classier than I thought he was. Nice

It drives me nuts that no English side has taken Huntelaar, he was made for our league and his goalscoring record is top drawer.

Yeah, don't understand it either. And he should have at least 3 more good years in him not being reliant on speed etc.

And 2nd half was the domination I haven't seen a Wolves side do in a while (yes they're League Two, but it's been three seasons of holding on!). Stale's signings have all been absolutely immense, he can really spot a player. Glad a few academy lads are getting a chance.

All hail the bald one!
