QPR are Pompey MK II

Except there a scrub club that can't get above 17,000 in a backwards hole in London with a fucking shit ground and shit (Madmaxx on here aside) fans. I can't wait for them to go bust.

Are QPR fans "shit" fans? They never seemed particularly shit to me all those years I lived in Shepherd's Bush, and my local was definitely a QPR pub (Crown & Sceptre). Ground is a bit shit, but its actually a great location (2 mins from the BBC for a start), certainly no worse than say, Fulham and a lot better than Spurs or West Ham.

I do think they've gone a bit doolally but then Tony Fernandes doesn't seem like the type to wait around for things to happen, and seems a bit more business savvy than Antonov (he's got a shitload more cash for a start).

They seem to have policy at the moment of signing proven premier league players who are largely past their best for large wages and fees, doesn't seem like smart, business, usiness to me.

Hasn't Carroll said he wants to stay unless you let him go to Newcastle? It is in your hands if you really don't want him accept Newcastles piss taking bid. If you don't want to take that make it worth his while to go somewhere else.

"Mwaaaaah! I'm only going to play for Newcastle"
"Fine - but be warned - you'll be sat on the bench then. You're 3rd choice..."
"Mwaaaaah! I don't care! I'd rather be sat on the bench not playing football than take a good job down south that pays each week twice what average joe earns in two years!"
"You're a cunt then..."

More like,
"Hey great news a recently promoted team has offered us a fair chuck of our money back so be a good lad take a pay cut and leave"
"That does not seem like a very good deal for me I don't want to play in London"
"But what about us we don't want you and Newcastle are being mean"
"You need to make it worth my while too"
"Fuck off you lanky streak of piss no one likes you and your not allowed to play with my ball any more!!!"

maybe Arsenal will swap walcott for carroll instead of dzeko?

both deals seem equally moronic so you never know.

I think I would take that Carroll could be great with the right service and as a backup plan and a target man vs the anti football teams I think he could give us something. Depends if Giroud steps up it is far to early to write him off.

Terry is back for the England squad, what happened with the FA charge? Would not think the FA would be up for this if they had plans to ban the fucker.

Disagree. There's a new manager in. He's been told up-front and fairly he's surplus to requirements. He should be a man and get out of there rather than be a grabber and sit on the bench.

Terry was never going to be found guilty by the FA. Even though he clearly was.

Seems fair but that has to work both ways. If Suarez came out today and said look I want to leave but i want to go home the club can only afford £15m less than Man City. Would Liverpool man up and let him go or would they say tough shit you go where and when you are told?

Juventus as a third seed is an pretty tough, and a long trip to shaktar ain't what you'd pick either, have to say I've never heard of the other team though.

By that rationale you'd think there was equality between a player and a club - there isn't.

Carroll, if he stays when he isn't wanted, is holding the whole club back. Lets hope he realises that that's how some people are going to feel.

I'll feel a bit sorry for the lad if he goes - but he'll still be on shitloads of cash for playing a game.

If he digs his heels in then he's a grabber, holding my club back...

Arsenal have reportedly made enquiries for 3 PL players, believed to be Essien and Tiote and someone else. Also made an enquiry for a Ligue 1 player, not named - but probably M'Vila or Capoue.

According to one source, a French TV channel has announced Tiote to Arsenal

Not sure how reliable it is but doesn't seem to have come from anywhere dodgy.

Looks like Juventus are in for Bendtner, should be having a medical tomorrow. Announced by Juve's director.
