They could probably beat the GB men too.

Watched the GB vs Brazil game and it's incredible how much more positive and composed they were compared to our abysmal men's team. Great to see 70,000+ people at the game and a deserved win. Will definitely make more of an effort to follow women's football in the future after that tbh.

I was just about to post something similar, the women put the mens gb and England teams to shame.

They do look much better with the ball at their feet than the men, or atleast relative to their overall ability. There are still some LOL moments ;)

I watch Arsenal ladies on our website fairly often. I think most of the girls from tonight were Arsenal players at one point. And they put on some good matches.

Spurs v Red Bulls (NY) on ESPN at midnight.

It looks like AVB is dyslexic and thinks Spurs is actually Spain, at least it seems so from this starting line-up: Gomes; Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto; Huddlestone, Livermore; Bentley, Sigurdsson, Lennon; Bale

You are naive in the ways of the average Tottenham fan it seems. You're lucky. :D

Allen's pricetag must have gone way up from this tournament, he's looked tidy throughout.

well i think other than a period from about 60-70ish minutes where we let Uruguay into the game a bit I thought that was a decent controlled game of football.

Only thing missing was the 2nd goal to kill it off.

How have the Koreans done so far then?

The midfield three today looked great together, no offense to giggs but he doesn't deserve to dislodge any of those 3.

He is a great option to have coming off the bench with the added benefit of being able to play 3-4 positions and the ability to create defence splitting passes but yes, after tonight we need to give those three a run.

VDV did love playing with Crouch, and he would fill a similar role to what Adebayor did for the team so it would make a lot of sense I think. Doesn't really fit with AVB's style of play though I think?

It's a surprise but we need to do something. If the price is right... Although I would like to think we could do a lot better if we ever actually get rid of Modric for what we want for him.

We also have Tom Carroll coming into the first team this season, I hope.
