Bale is trying to get the keeper sent off, despite the fact he could have controlled the ball and went around him. He dived in the hope of cheating. I hate pulis. But I hate cheaters more. A ban would stop that, granted you could start at 1 match and then increase for repeat offenders. The need to stamp it out, it's the same players over and over.

Scale of acceptablitiy goes (in order of least to most):

Trying to phyically hurt someone
Diving to get someone removed from the game
Diving
Going down after contact that isn't enough to fell you

Suarez does himself no favors by throwing himself to the floor with every contact. I am not saying he dives but he is to theatrical, it is like he does not want anyone to miss that he was kicked so he makes a 3 course meal followed by a night in a fancy hotel of it. If he just fell over once in a while he might get more free kicks.

You missed the part about me saying he does not dive. I mean he does not seem to ever just go down. It seems like he throws his legs and arms everywhere grabs a body part and rolls around until he gets his free kick or gets up to moan. If he just got knocked over he might get more of the decisions go his way.
