Rooney has these shit spells every season, why do people still go on about him being crap and needing replacing?

I don't know how they work these values out because they value the LA Dodgers at $1.6b but they sold for $2.15b

United are now second behind Real Madrid in terms of club value. I didn't realise Arsenal were 4th highest in the world, slightly ahead of Bayern.

I'm amazed Beckham is still the highest earning footballer!

All down to Real & Barca's TV deals and the weakening of Sterling. United will go back to No.1 when the new Prem TV deal kicks in next year, and also when the Chevrolet sponsorship deal starts. Plus, Real are finally under investigation for that dodgy property deal with Madrid council a few years back, so that could make quite a dent in their value if they're found guilty.

Beckham's money doesn't actually come from his football wages, its from sponsorship and that stake he has in one of the world's largest sports management companies.

The PL signed a $250m deal the other day with NBC for the US broadcast rights. Apparently they get £3bn a year from sky. I wonder what their gross from worldwide tv rights sales is?

That is fairly cool seeing the total games played. Man U are 245 point behind Liverpool but do have 357 games in hand :)

I was hoping the full data sheet would show the points per season but it doesn't. I looked at the last 20 years and on that form United need about 15 more seasons to go past the Scousers (United have averaged 16.35 points per season more than Lollerpool in the last 20 years).

PFA player of the Year nominees:

Bale
Suarez
RvP
Mata
Hazard
Carrick

Young player list are:

Bale
Benteke
Hazard
Lukaku
Wilshere
Welbeck

Hazard is fine for youth but not senior. Welbeck shouldn't be in there, I don't really think Wilshere's done enough either this season.

How Hazard has got in ahead of Michu, Baines and Cazorla is mental.

Leighton Baines has created more chances (103) than Messi & Ronaldo put together (91).

Michu: 17 goals 2 assists, cost 2 million. Hazard: 8 goals 9 assists, cost 32 million.

Mata should win, not even being biased, the guy is a machine.

When i saw him at SB, he was Chelsea's best player by a fair distance, but Bale has almost single handedly kept Spurs competing for a top 4 spot.

Benteke should win the youth. Senior should be Suarez or Mata, both been consistently excellent. Bale's form has been too patchy IMO.

I think Mata is more patchy than Bale, but i think Suarez is a fair shout.

Michu for me but he doesn't pull in the sponsorship money so he won't be on the list.
