What would replacing Wenger achieve? The problem is selling their best players and replacing them with cheaper players, changing manager won't prevent that, actually wenger does an incredible job with what he's got. Arsenal have looked naff lately though.

You won the League cup 10 years later in 64, then the FA Cup in 70 the Uefa Cup in 71 then nothing till you won the 2nd division (oops) in 84 the thing you won next after that was the 2nd division (double oops) in 89

Firstly I'm not implying right now, it would be pointless any way but the reality is beside the odd whimper Arsenal fans conform to the status quo which suits the owners too. I'm not saying they are bleeding you dry but Wenger never seems to spend the money he allegedly has available to him, so to me either there are other problems or the owners see it as an investment as much as a passion and thus doesn't actually have much money to spend.

The fact is you will continue to have problems when it comes to trophies because what you produce you don't keep, you generally don't purchase any big names and to add to this the appeal of Arsenal drops because you can't win trophies.

Tragically I don't think it'll make a jot of difference because Arsenal fans conform to the same answers when dealing with the matter, almost Liverpool like but for different reasons.

I don't disagree with that and it is why I have said plenty of time we don't have a right to a trophy. I posted a while ago with the reasons. We can afford any transfer fee, that's not the problem. Our issue is we don't have the cashflow to sustain 'normal' wages at the level of recent trends. We may have 1,000 in the bank but if we earn 10 and spend 15, there's only so much that 1,000 will last.

That is my point seeing as we have this "cap" we cant afford to carry players like Arshavin on his £100k a week plus who we could not even loan out. Add to that Denilson Bender Park and Chamack who are all playing for someone else but still allegedly costing us £20k+ a week each and the precious salary cap is wasted. In my opinion giving average players above average long term deals is what is hurting us.
