Funny watching the Chelski fans rounding on Benitez. Chelski had enough more than enough chances to put that game to bed and you lost to a goal against the clear run of play. If Benitez can't rest Mata against QPR then who the fuck can he rest him against?

Loser supporters know nothing :)

Anyway, more importantly, Suarez showing the class of his game - gets fouled, stays on his feet, gets a goal. Great play all round from him. As it always is. :)

I think Suarez is showing how good he can be when he stays on his feet, he does go down far to easily and it's good to see he is trying to change (sometimes!) As for the Chelsea games, it's just one of those things, upsets happen. Benitez was right to rest a few players when playing the bottom club, at home in midweek. Shame his own players that he didn't buy! I'm looking at you Torres, didn't really turn up again.

Did you only look at the stats or did you watch the game? Almost every shot we had was from outside the box. We barely created a single chance because we left our best creative players needlessly on the bench.

Our next game, in the FA cup. Domestic cups for big clubs these days are mostly an opportunity to rest players, not PL games when you're apparently supposed to be challenging for the title.

Come on. Benitez needlessly rotated a winning team and it's what he's known for and one of the biggest downfalls of his style of management. Resting players is fine, but not constantly changing the attacking line-up and quite clearly causing a lack of cohesion in the team. Don't blindly try and support Benitez's quite clearly poor decision here just because he's ex-Liverpool and you want to wind up Chelsea fans. He's gotten plenty of praise for the things he has done well, he's made us more solid and we've won games we would have lost under RDM. However needless rotation like this is still the biggest downfall of his management and if he can't learn from his mistakes and evolve as a manager then he won't last.

Either way we didn't do enough to win the game, but I do firmly believe if Mata had started we would have created more chances. Torres still would have spooned them though so I guess it doesn't matter either way. :)

That was my biggest problem with him when he was manager of Liverpool aswell. He (imho) is a really good manager but it feelt like the endless rotation costed us quite a few points here and there. Maybe it is better in the long run, one will never know.

BUT! Chelsea should be able to beat QPR at home with the most creative players on the bench.

I really get the impression that Mancini doesn't have a clue what he's doing a lot of the time and it's just blind luck (and lotsa money ofc) that City are where they are.

I don't know....I think at a team with that many egos and personalities I think there are two ways to keep control:

1. Have an amazing presence and a big personality yourself.

2. Act/Be a Mental.

I think mancini is No.2

Andy Carroll and Marouane Chamakh. Defenses must be shitting themselves.
