No i think that theory is bullshit made up by lazy journalists who opt for the most basic explanation because they're too dumb to give any real insight.

If he only cost £20m or so you can be pretty sure he'd be on the bench / out on loan by now.

The way he keeps moaning at the ref when he has clearly fucked up an opportunity is a bit embarrassing.

I'd like to see him back to his best but can't see it happening.

Who else can we play? Sturridge has been injured more often than not this season, Lukaku is on loan. I'd play Moses upfront over Torres personally but can sort of see why it hasn't happened yet.

Well one thing's for certain, if Moses was up front he would have burned Kompany for pace on the couple of opportunities Torres had to run past him. It's a sad state of affairs, I genuinely think we'd play better with 10 men and no Torres - he just gets in the way most of the time and when he does get the ball he gives it away.

Rafas reception was harsh. Chelsea fans should be grateful for where they are.

New Chelsea fans are like larger louts who win the lottery though they will never be grateful. Same as all glory hunters.

Harsh reception, but after the comments he's made about Chelsea before, it wasn't surprising.

Surely Abramovich is the bad guy at Chelsea for not giving a sucession of managers a decent chance?

But he also given them plenty of silverware they wouldn't accomplished without him. Silverware or long lasting manager?

Yes but Chelsea fans aren't going to bite the hand that feeds them. Weird thing is, that Abramovich's "strategy" of interim managers has actually worked. Its all very well claiming that continuity is the key, but its not working out for Wenger is it? Its unfortunate for Chelsea fans that its Rafa, a very unpleasant person who's slagged them in the past, but they won't give a toss if he delivers them the Prem this year (which is still possible, neither City or United look bulletproof, no-one in English football does at the moment).

Lol!

He's taken a wannabe no-one club to the highest echelons of european football.

They may be frustrated with him - but look at Chelski before he arrived. They're NOT a big club. Never have been.

There's a growing fanbase now tho...

Without him Chelsea would be in exactly the same position Leeds are in, minus a good 20,000 'fans'.

Not a big club before Abramovich? I see..

I miss the days of Zola, Di Matteo, Poyet, Marcel Desailly in fairness! Even though we had no European Cup, the football was always interesting!

You were on the same levels as Everton.. 'always there or there abouts'. Debt-wise however you were up the shitter and when Roman decides enough is enough.. oh boy. Will make Pompey look like child's' play.

Yeah but that was before the days of really big money, the days when a world class striker in his prime cost just 15 million (Shearer) Though I don't doubt someone else would have come along and bought Chelsea.

Before Abramovich there were three big clubs in English football and several delusional medium-sized clubs (Spurs, Newcastle, Leeds! and yes, Chelsea), a couple of realistic medium-sized clubs (Everton, and Villa, who were on the verge of delusional and subsequently went off the deep end), the rest were/are small clubs. Even now, the only clubs who could fill a 60K+ stadium week in week out are Arsenal, United and Liverpool (and Newcastle at a pinch).

Yeah i'm not looking forward to that day at all.

Unless the Arsenal billionaire decides he's fed up with not being sold shares to give him majority share and decides he'd give us a go.

You dont want him he is more like the cunt in charge of Hearts who just see's the club as a way of making money than an Abramobitch who is willing to lose a fortune for success. No one at Arsenal is looking forward to him gaining control.

Toon! Toon! Toon are shite:

* If Newcastle lose at Stoke on Wednesday they will have the same amount of points after as many games as the season they got relegated.

* Newcastle have won one game out of the last eight via Papiss Cisse's backside vs WBA. Otherwise it would be 1 in 12.

* Newcastle are the only team to have yet to score from a set-piece.

* Newcastle have scored once in the last 270 corners. The last coming over a year ago in October 2011.

* Since Alan Pardew joined Newcastle two years ago, they are yet to win any PL game after going behind.

* Newcastle statistically play the most long balls per game (67) and most overall with over 800.

* Newcastle have kept one clean sheet in the league thus far.

* Newcastle have not managed to score more than two goals in a PL game since Stoke on April 21st (3-0).

* Newcastle have played all three promoted teams this season and have failed to win any of them. Losing two.
