Aston Villa have the ficklest bunch of whining bastards for fans I have ever seen. Home or away you can guarantee that they will boo their own players. Not just under Alex McLeish. Successive managers for twenty odd years if memory serves correct. What a tiresome bunch of cunts they are

What absolute rubbish. Lerner out and take that ginger haired tosser with you. "Sir Alex wrote to me!", we don't give a flying one.

Normally I'd agree, but Turamber is right for once, this is absolutely awful. You cannot have such a lack of ambition at home and expect your fans to support you.

Once again though, we are only 1 nil up.

Still can't fathom why Lerner went for McLeish.. he's a total shit manager

Because he's a yes man, the same as the guy he appointed to run the club on a day to day basis. Lerner owns the Browns in the NFL, a competition where the draft should ensure a level of competition between the clubs. Yet he continually appoints poor coaches and they struggle every year.

He was lucky to inherit O'Neill. Cut the purse strings yet then appointed two shit managers and gave them both funds. Particularly Houllier, £24m on Bent and £6m on Makoun ... A player so bad he is on loan in Greece and can't get a game there either. McLeish brings in a lazy show pony from Wigan and they give a huge long term contract to a 35 year old goalkeeper.

They don't know how to run a club. If they have no ambition or cannot afford to compete then at least have a manager who will entertain the fans. The current setup is even worse than the David O'Leary years.

And yes, Villa fans do moan too much. People booed O'Neill and his team because they should have won every game and played better football. But being dissatisfied with the current state of affairs is quite understandable.

Turning into a shit year for the Midlands clubs tbh, neither of us like doing shit and will mostly make up a good chunk of the relegation pack

i dunno, there's some shocking teams (on current form) down the bottom of the table, your going to have to be consistently shit to end up down there at the end of the season, I think both Villa and Wolves have enoough about them to avoid that at least.

I think they said before kick off that Lerner has said they must readjust their wage bill an quickly. So they loose Downing and Young plus a few other and buy Charle N'Zogbia. They can either stay mid table short term and build a foundation or go the same way as Lids and end up going bust.

We this season are fucking awful, the team looks like its out of ideas. Doyle hasn't had a shot on target for 4 matches ffs :|.

Villa are going to be fighting for it.. mark my words, they are as bad as us and it's something i'd never see but them going down is a possibility.
