I'm just disappointed that the two best players of this generation (Messi and Ronaldo) have not done shit for their nation... I can't really think of one player who has done very good at at least 2 major international competitions either actually..
It's always players who 99% people have never heard of at World Cup etc..
Neither Messi or Ronaldo are very old though, especially Messi. Beyond Pele I can't think of many players who've done much at international level at a young age.

They are both amazing, no doubt. But they did end 2nd in our group. Two players can't carry an entire team, just like Messi won't be able to carry Argentina to a WC. Had Maradonna not fucked up with his team during the last WC, I think they would have had a shot, but it seemed like he wanted everything to come from Messi and it just didn't happen.Give Ronaldo the european championships, I reckon it will be a break out year for him on the big stage, He's not on his own, him and Nani in his current form are frightening prospects for any team to come up against.
I don't think anyone who watches football can really argue that C Ronaldo is anything other than a quality player, regardless of personal opinion of him or clubs he has played for previously.
Much the same as saying Suarez is crap, because he a) dives too much and b) denied Ghana an historic World Cup victory with some thoroughly unsportsmanlike behaviour. Doesnt mean he's crap, he's not, but there are sides to his game which tarnish his reputation to some

Team effort > Individualists
Michael Owen..... jus sayin
I find this a bit odd! ... this "dive reputation" he has gotten I simply don't understand. To me he is one of the few strikers who tries to stay on his feet at all time, this is from watching him in Liverpool and Urugay for 1.5 season.
Fabiański; Eastmond, Squillaci, Koscielny, Miquel; Chamberlain, Frimpong, Coquelin, Benayoun; Park, Chamakh.I've got Preston, Arsenal and Chelsea to win tonight. £5 plus £10 free bet pays about 250 quid. Fingers crossed.
Must use Internet explorer, lol!
