Sorry what? He's started 3 of City's premiership games, Linked up fucking brilliantly with Silva, came on twice as a sub and scored a cracking goal the other week. When he's been given his chance for England he has performed, scoring goals and looking dangerous. He is better than everything we have on the right handside by a country mile.

On a purely technical level, VdS was the better keeper (more clean sheets in the record books), but then again United had a much better defence in the VdS era, so Schmeichel had more to do. I voted Schmeichel personally, but its a pretty close run thing.
