The Man City line-up looks really attacking, good to see.

Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Toure Yaya, Johnson, Silva, Aguero, Tevez

Gyan is on loan, what has money got to do with it?

Why else would you go to Dubai?

He's gone there for a big old wedge and Im sure we've gotten a decent sum to let him go for the season. Its whats killing football. Players dont give a shit about playing at the top level, they'd be happy to play in the Conferance if you paid them enough, fucking mercenaries.

it is a loan, he wont get anything extra for going there. Why would the Dubai team pay wages above what Sunderland pay? He is still a sunderland player which means it is them that pay his wages, and they get reimbursed by the club that have him on loan, as well as probably getting a nice fee for him going.

The guy gets... very little unless he making arrangements outside of his contract. But to be fair I do not see why they would do that because he not exactly a big name that going to improve dubia football

Just because it's a loan does not mean he isn't getting paid extra to play for them.

Kevin Davis could have been sent off inside the first 12minutes. The useless twat. Hope he does see red by the end of the half to teach them not to play like this.
There is playing physically but fair, and then there is Bolton current style!

Can see this being a pretty dull game even if Utd hammer Bolton. Simply because Bolton are not interested in playing football yet.

Utd seem to be running a "what City can do we do better" lol.

2-0 up and looking good.

Phil Jones is looking a handfull at right back today. 2 assists now and looking rampant. All goals from the right side, Young not getting a look in. lol

I know we're ahead but I feel like our midfield slowed down significantly when Carrick.

Carrick looks around when he gets the ball and looks for the good pass, seems to me like Cleverly has decided what the good pass is before he receives the ball.

Agree, we could have scored a silly amount had anyone but carrick come on.

Carrick makes us so sluggish all the time. Cleverley gives us the Scholes factor. The moment the ball is at his feet he has already decided what he is going to do with it... Carrick when he gets it has decided to piss about with it and give it to the opposition ... or to go sideways at best, but normally backwards.

I never understood the contract renewal, he just a stopgap for any emergancies at best. So glad that the Anderson/Cleverley pairing is so strong at teh start of the season. Sure there is a risk that it will not last but it gives me hope that Carrick wont get on the pitch often.
