you know the famous united youth pose with SAF, the guy who was on the end was the youth team captain, he played most of his career in the mls, their was an article on it when beckham first went to LA Galaxy about how he was touted as the best player in that team ect from like the age of 14 then he didn't even get promoted to the 1st team, this was the youth team that had both nevilles giggs becks scholes and butt in it

You spurged all over your keyboard about how he is a "special" player. No, hes not but then I agreed that for the price, its worth a punt and the 2 teams in for him, Arsenal and Spurs are about his level which is why none of the big clubs are in for him.

Hes played very well in all our pre season games and even delivered a special performance against Bayern. Think he will be introduced gradually during the season but we still need cesc to give us the cover in midfield as there are concerns about Xavi's fitness. We dont expect him to be able to play every game this season.

Mata is a great little player, I always thought he was slightly ahead of Silva in terms of ability. When I lived out in Spain I watched a lot of La Liga and always thought he would be a great player. For £13m he's a bargain, just because he hasn't played for Barca doesnt mean he isnt a great player.
